"I think the next Batman is next year," he said when the fan asked about when the long-awaited "Dark Knight" follow-up would hit, "We start shooting next year. You didn't hear that from me."

I'm sure he was just "pleasing to the youth" which doesn't have much of a time perception. You know, just to keep his hopes up and "the dream" alive... no??? After all, isn't christmas ALWAYS around the "corner"???

it is possibele, since Inception should finish filming in Fall 2009.Also if Batman 3 films in 2010 meaning a 2011 release.(a year filled with comic book movies).
