The long-awaited debut for DC's solo "The Flash" film, starring Ezra Miller, will no doubt mark said movie as the pivotal turning point for the overarching DCEU going forward in their shared universe of heroes and other characters.

The movie will follow our protagonist Barry Allen, AKA "The Flash", in his attempts to save his mother from her tragic death that he witnessed when he was merely a child. This act of heroism will carry massive consequences, which we will definitely soon come to see unfold in the alternate universe he will create, "Flashpoint".

No villain has yet been confirmed for the film, having your guess as good as the next persons; but after a recent leak of toys part of the film's promotional merchandising campaign, we now know who it will be, and based on the movies' overall story, it makes complete sense why they are the villain.

First Look At "THE FLASH" Villain

"Dark Flash", or better known by his iconic comic book name, "The Black Flash", is set to play as the main antagonist for "The Flash" movie. For those who do not know of Black Flash, he is essentially the pure embodiment of death itself for speedsters.

Why his inclusion in the movie makes sense, however, is because in his most recent live-action portrayal in "The Flash" TV show, his role would occur only when a speedster would mess with the timeline, acting as a "Time Wraith".

We know Barry will be going back in time at some point in the movie to reverse his mother's death, which makes complete sense for why Dark Flash will need to intervene and prevent him from changing anything.
