Rob Liefeld Weighs In On DEADPOOL Finally Getting His Own Movie
Even when most of us had given up hope, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld remained positive that the Merc with the Mouth would one day be brought to the big screen. He was shown to be correct this week when Fox announced a release date and talks here about his feelings on the adaptation...
Deapool is finally coming to the big screen with a release date set for early 2016. It's hard to believe that it's really happening after all these years, but the recently leaked test footage showed Fox just how passionate fans are about seeing this character finally brought to life in a movie.
Newsarama recently caught up with co-creator Rob Liefeld to ask for his thoughts on what it was like to finally get official confirmation that the movie is less than two years away. Tim Miller will direct the movie, while Ryan Reynolds is expected to reprise the role after playing Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
