T.J. Miller May Have Just Revealed His Role In DEADPOOL
With its February release, Fox's Deadpool is set to kick off the barrage of CBMs scheduled to arrive in 2016. The film just began production and there's still a lot we don't know, but thanks to Twitter, we may have just learned who comedian T.J. Miller will be playing. Come check it out!
Fox has been fairly cryptic with its Deadpool casting so far. Obviously, Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) will be returning as the Merc With A Mouth, and he'll be joined by Morena Baccarin (Gotham), Gina Carano (Fast & Furious 6), T.J. Miller (Transformers: Age of Extinction), and Ed Skrein (Game Of Thrones). We also know Carano will be playing Angel Dust, but rumors aside we still haven't had confirmation on the other three roles.
However, thanks to the art of hashtagging, we may have just learned what part T.J. Miller landed and it looks like it's the role many of us guessed it would be. Check out the tweet below:
So, like many assumed when he was first cast, it looks like Miller IS actually playing Weasel. In case you didn't know, Weasel is a friend to Wade Wilson's Deadpool, and also fills the role of sidekick, information broker, and arms dealer.
It's not official confirmation, but until Fox officially announces it themselves, it looks like it's the best we'll get. Additionally, reading the tweet in its proper context makes it seem as though Miller may also be cutting down to portray the character.
