Back in October of last year, we got word that Warner Bros. was planning a solo Deathstroke movie with The Raid director Gareth Evans at the helm. We hadn't heard anything about it since, with many assuming that the studio had simply given up on the idea.
However, Joe Manganiello has now confirmed that the wheels are still in motion.
It's not much, but here's what the actor had to say when quizzed about the project by Variety on the Rampage premiere red carpet:
Manganiello briefly appeared as Slade Wilson in the mid-credits scene of Justice League, where it was strongly implied that the character would join Lex Luthor's team of villains for the sequel.
But with a follow-up now uncertain after the first film's disappointing performance at the box office, there's a decent chance we could see this Deathstroke movie first.
