Doctor Strange will star Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, with Tilda Swinton said to be in talks to play the Ancient One. Written by Jon Spaihts and directed by Scott Derrickson, Doctor Strange follows the story of the brilliant and arrogant neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who learns after a horrific car accident that his hands don’t hold the key to his powers. Instead, he discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. The movie is set to hit theaters on November 4th, 2016.

I like the ominous feel and the way it differentiates itself from other marvel flicks, however, we all know it will be the same as the other trailers: slight character buildup. Marvel logo, Punchline, cut off by music and quick cuts, ending with a tongue in cheek/self deprecating joke, slow title reveal.

I'll watch this later, but I will say that I'm looking forward to this movie. I've never collected Dr. Strange comics, I think I have a sum total of 1 in my collection, but he's had appearances in some others, like Spider-Man, X-Men, of course my Infinity Gauntlet series, etc etc. So even tho I haven't collected him, his character and what he can bring to the cinematic universe intrigues me. Hopefully its somewhat darker, more mysterious than the spectacles we've gotten so far from Marvel. I think Marvel needs to recognize a balance...not every movie can be popcorn fests like Avengers/Guardians...or else their plans will go stale

Doctor Strange lost my interest as soon as BC as cast. Marvel still makes decent films but they don't make GREAT films.

@slickrickdesigns Opinions are like farts, everyone has em, none is more valid than the other. @Jeight I have no loyalty to any studio because that's [frick]ing stupid. Fox makes Bad movies, Marvel makes bad movies, WB makes bad movies, everyone has a hit and miss. They all have made great films, and also have made crap quality films. It's the way it goes, IM1 was great, Cap 2 was great, X-3 sucked, IM2 blew chunks, MoS was underwhelming (though I pin the blame on Goyer). All in all, it doesn't matter, y'all are gonna be butthurt for any reason because that's what the comment section is for. Dig in if ya want, I'm just gonna kick back make my opinion known and not really care what you think :*

I was enjoying it till I saw the scene taken from Batman Begins. If seems like EVERY fan film has to reference that particular scene, and now every time I see it it just takes me out of what they're trying to do.

What does that even mean? "Marvel still makes decent films but they don't make GREAT films." Isn't whether or not a film is great rest with the people who are watching it? And if that's the case Marvel indeed makes some GREAT films.

Not all of them may reach that level of awesomeness, but few studios have movies that are as CONSISTENTLY great as Marvel.
