Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took Wanda Maximoff on a wild ride and showed us just how much of an impact tapping into the Darkhold had on the former Avenger. Her future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now uncertain, but there are still plenty of places to take this character following her rampage through the Multiverse.
Only time will tell whether those rumours of a Scarlet Witch movie or Disney+ TV series become a reality, but in a meantime, we have more concept art from the sequel, this time by Andy Park.
As you can see, it shows the Scarlet Witch fully powered up as she unleashes chaos throughout the MCU. The artist notes that it shows, "[a] different cape, power exploration [and] an 'upgraded' crown." What we saw in live-action looked amazing, and it's easy to see how Park's work influenced what Sam Raimi ultimately brought to the screen.
Wanda's portrayal in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has divided fans, and while that's something we hope to see Marvel Studios address at some point, we'd be shocked if a redemption arc for the hero isn't already being planned for a future project. That's how things eventually played out in the comic books, anyway!
