DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Concept Art Spotlights Alternate Scarlet Witch Crown Designs

Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has shared some of his alternate designs for The Scarlet Witch's (Elizabeth Olsen) crown in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Take a look...

Elizabeth Olsen finally suited-up as The Scarlet Witch in WandaVision, and the character donned a slightly updated costume for her return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Now, Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has shared some of his alternate designs for Wanda's "levelled-up" crowns.

The first was the basis for the version we saw in the movie, and while the others are quite similar, there are a few subtle differences in the length of the horns at the top, bottom and center of the headpiece. Park also shared "glowing" versions of the designs, and the last one, in particular, achieves the effect of giving the Scarlet Witch a more comic-accurate appearance.

All of these look pretty cool, but we haven't seen any complaints about the outfit Olsen ended up wearing in the movie.

Wanda well and truly "broke bad" in Doctor Strange 2, and while she did ultimately see (or was shown) the error of her ways, we're not sure fans would really buy a full redemption arc after some of the heinous acts she committed - under the Darkhold's influence or not.

If and when Wanda does return to The MCU, how do you think she should be portrayed? Drop us a comment down below.

@DoubleD - Numbers aren't everything. I am pretty sure every film in the sequel trilogy made a cool billion, for example, with varying degrees of quality. He just has his opinion and he's "entitled" to it, as are we. Personally I also enjoyed the film. The end credits scene was a little wonky, mostly because they didn't bother to put a "sometime later" in there. Other than that, I enjoyed it. I'm not sure what people are expecting from these films sometimes?

Talking about art. Story. It was a cheese fest. Predictable movie.i didn't like it. Glad you did.
btw every time you defend a movie with how much it makes at the box office for whether it's a "good" movie you come off a little bit 2 dimensional. I don't think you understand what it means to appreciate the art of cinema. Early Marvel movies understood that the movies had to have soul. Not just amazing CGI.

I usually love his designs but I’m not gonna lie, I hate all of those options. Glad they didn’t change the design too much for MoM and only removed the black base and changed the colour

My main complaint about the final design is that it was way too muted and dark, not to mention her hair being way too bright. I understand what they were going for, but I wish there was a little bit of scarlet in the Scarlet Witch.
