DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Promo Art Teases The Former Sorcerer Supreme's Variants

The latest Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness promo art once again teases some of the Stephen Strange Variants we'll meet in Sam Raimi's sequel, including Strange Supreme and Defender Strange...

After Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home introduced us to the concept of the Multiverse in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness now looks set to explore it in a truly mind-bending manner. We're anticipating seeing a lot of Variants in the sequel, and a new promo poster highlights some of Stephen Strange's doppelgängers.

The first Strange, however, does appear to be the MCU's (former) Sorcerer Supreme. Where things get really interesting is with the other two; in yellow, we see what appears to be What If...?'s Doctor Strange Supreme. Then, in green, there's a character we know to be "Defender Strange."

What role they'll play in the sequel remains to be seen, but Strange meeting both his villainous counterpart and one who is potentially better than him (possibly the leader of the Defenders in his reality) could open his eyes to how different his life would be with just a few alternate choices.

We're anticipating a new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer being released during the Super Bowl this weekend, so fingers crossed we get to see more Variants in action.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. We'll journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The movie's cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released on May 6.

Strange is so strange, only another Strange can defeat him. No need for other characters at all

I hope they don't spoil it too much in the next trailer.

I wish there was another actor who becomes Dr. Strange from another universe.

Why aren't we getting Star Wars articles as well? They have comics. If I write the articles will they get deleted?

Cba swapping between two sites.
Considering in the past they've gotten away with posts for children cartoons spoofing franchises

@JFerguson - no i refuse to go to a sister site. I will be posting star wars comic related content on here, especially if I can tie it into the live action stuff. If it kills me I'll relate it to a relevant comic books I'll quote it, reference page numbers, wear the pages as clothes.

@JFerguson - Not going to a sister site just because they want to up their page click numbers…Plenty of other forums to discuss Star Wars and Sci-Fi titles…Ones where they don’t have writers using several aliases to inflate their numbers…

Has that actually been confirmed to be the strange from what if ? Or we just all assuming once again and if it’s not people gonna be mad for no reason except their own expectations

Does anyone else feel like Benedict Cumberbatch is, for a lack of better words, corny on screen? Maybe hammy is a better descriptor.

Kinda looks a little like Ming the Merciless.

The rules of this MCU multiverse are odd. All variants look like the same actor just dressed differently, unless they have actors who've previously played them, then they look different for... reasons... we had a female and alligator and Black Loki... why is it just Benedict as Stephen?

@ElricReturns - Well, these are the only ones we've seen. We saw way more Loki variants than anyone else after all.

I don't think that is Strange Supreme, but regardless I am looking forward a lot to seeing Stephen interact with those two Variants. It's becoming one of my anticipating parts of the movie.
