DOCTOR STRANGE Concept Art Reveals Comic Accurate Take On The Marvel Movie's Mindless Ones

Doctor Strange may have borrowed a fair bit from Iron Man, but from a visual standpoint, the movie was breathtaking. Now, a concept artist has shared a comic accurate take on the villainous Mindless Ones.

At the end of Doctor Strange, Kaecilius and his followers were pulled into Dormammu's Dark Dimension and transformed into the Mindless Ones in the process. Time will tell whether they ever return to cause problems for Steven Strange, but this newly revealed concept art from Jerad S. Marantz spotlights a very cool, comic accurate take on the villains.

The Sorcerer Supreme has been plagued by The Mindless Ones for decades, and they even targeted Spider-Man in the 500th issue of The Amazing Spider-Man when New York City came under attack.

Rumour has it that Nightmare or the Scarlet Witch will be the lead villain/s in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so the odds of The Mindless Ones factoring into the sequel seem slim, especially as Dormammu was defeated back in 2016 (much to the disappointment of some fans).

Check out this concept art below and let us know your thoughts in the usual place!

I really hope Dormammu isn't defeated. I wanna see him in his flaming head form. Also he was part of the best scene in the first one.

@SpideyPuffsMJ -
If we see Dormammu again, chances are it'll either be in a plot involving Clea or manipulating Mordo for a potential Mordo redemption.

Personally i want to see the comic accurate version of Dormammu also along with a proper battle between the two to show how much Strange has evolved as a character.

That said, it really feels like they wanted to get Dormammu out of the way solely to act as a method of emphasising the abilities of the Time Stone to reverse/repeat and to allow Strange to effectively train using Dormammu's attempts to kill him.

This one could've been SO much better, the potential was there.

Melt this down and add it to the other concept art that should have made the final product.

I hate that they felt the need to hold back on the first Strange movie. Hopefully the gloves really are all off for MoM, and this art can be repurposed, like the Zemo art that's finally getting used on F&WS.
