This time I’m casting some DC villains that need to be seen on the big screen. I will always believe the villain is the most important part in these CBM’s.
So far DC hasn’t done a bad job on picking great actors for their main villains.
Mark Strong as Sinestro was the highlight the Green Lantern movie last summer. None of us will forget Heath Ledger’s Joker. Some of you may not be looking forward to Anne Hathaway/Catwoman or Michael Shannon/General Zod but I am very excited to see what they have to offer. Tom Hardy/Bane doesn’t do anything for me right now, but we shall see.
I’ll pick 8 new characters to cast as well as 2 rebooted recast.
10. Captain Cold/Woody Harrelson
This is just about perfect. Harrelson can make a believable street smart thug and can be ruthless as well. Mr. Snart isn’t the greatest looking villain and Harrelson isn’t very pretty either.
9. Dr. Sivana/Rowan Atkinson
Yes, Mr. Bean would be a great Sivana. Shave his head and put some dark glasses on him. He has a very awkward way to him just like Sivana. He could bring this character up the ladder nicely.
8. Cheshire/Ziyi Zhang
She is finally just the right age, for those that notice that, to be a very realistic Chesire. Zhang has the skill and the beauty for this evil assassin.
7. Felix Faust/David Duchovny
Duchovny has a very annoying voice, at least I think so. I really don’t like him as a person, because everything I’ve seen him in he exudes self righteousness. As an actor he plays his parts well. He just seems to be a total ass.
6. The Calculator/Jason Bateman
Bateman has made a pretty good comeback lately. He plays arrogant and smart ass very well. He could make Calculator intimidating
5. Brainiac/Jeff Goldblum
I want Goldblum because he has a very calm and intellectual voice. Since most of Brainiac would be CGI or even better, mo cap, then he is the only one I can think of that can make a realistic and believable Brainiac.
4. Circe/Nicole Kidman
Kidman is a brilliant actress and she has the look of a evil psycho b-word. She is getting older, but she is still drop dead gorgeous and she needs to do something that will put her up there with the great villains like Ledger and Strong.Plus, Circe has to be just as beautiful as Wonder Woman, Right?
3. Solomon Grundy/Sylvester Stallone
I know what you guys are going to say, but look at Grundy for a second. He’s not very articulate, not very bright and he’s built like a brick $h!thouse. Stallone, except Stallone is very smart and he can act! Yes he can! He may not have done very well acting-wise since First Blood and Rocky but he really kicked it out of the park with those first movies. He can act.

2.Scarecrow/Adrien Brody
I know a lot would have him as Joker but he has a lot more in common with the comic book version of Dr. Jonathan Crane. He has the acting skills to make a very believable psychiatrist and he has the lanky frame to pull off a tall frightening Scarecrow.
1. Lex Luthor/John Lithgow
I liked Alec Baldwin as Luthor, but I remembered how evil John Lithgow was in Dexter as the Trinity Killer and it hit me like a sledge hammer. Lithgow is a superb actor and he would be the best Luthor we have ever seen.
And for all you guys that say they are to old. Their real age has nothing to do with the age of the character they will be playing. Circe is hundreds of years old so maybe we should cast Betty White for Circe's role. Special effects and makeup can do wonders. Some are obvious like Clint Eastwood playing Robin but this isn't the case.
