Here are my ideas on the Metal Gear Solid movie. I know this isn't a comicbook movie but so as Terminator, Clash of the Titans, Prince of Persia etc. so enjoy

Solid Snake- I wanted someone who was good in action, adventure and violent movies so I got Gerard Butler. To me their is a slight resemblance but i'm not sure with you.




Meryl Silverburgh- Since she is a red-head the first thing that came into my mind was G.I. Joe's Rachel Nichol.




Gray Fox- Since this guy was a ninja I wanted someone who is an actor and stuntman/martial artist so I got Ray Park who is obvously famous for Darth Maul and Snake Eyes.



Hal "Otacon" Emmerich- When I first saw his face I thought to my self I've seen him before but as I was thinking it wasn't him that I saw before but it was Cillian Murphy.

This happens to be my favorite game/series of game ever, I own a PS3 just for this game, really MGS4 is the only game I have for it... Also this is fine being on this site there is a comicbook of MGS so its okay to have it up.

I don't know what game your going for though, I mean you have older Hal yet a young Snake. I think I could give better suggestions if I knew what game your turning into a movie.

Also Damien Walters for Gray Fox. Ray Park is to short and abit to buff to fit inside the costume without having to make it bigger then it should be, or with big rubber lips...

oh and good casting, I like the choice for Hal, he would work as young Hal too, since they really aren't that much older by the 4th game, it's just snake due to the aging problem.

I have to agree with Yohon on the Ray Park aspect get a taller stunt double and have the guy from the game do the voice over.. would be a sweet nod at the game.

I think Damien Walters would be a better pick but I agree with everyone else that you picked.
