First off let me start by saying that I enjoyed the movie very much, this is just a write up of ideas that I've thought about lately. Ideas that conjure up an alternative take, a take that might be better or worse.

First off I like the idea of Bane and Talia being married. In a comic that I have they become romantically linked after Ra's' al Ghul finally approves of Bane. I like the idea of her being undercover and when she sees Bane on the ropes about to fail she reveals herself. Then after they siege Batman they try to carry out the plan together. This removes the "Bane is a henchmen again" comments and admittedly I have thought the same thing. I could see Selina making the same turnaround as in the movie and coming back to free Batman from Bane and Talia. Consequently setting up a fight between Bane and Batman, and Talia and Selina.
With Bane and Talia being married I'd like for Talia to only be a source of hope for Bruce as Miranda, someone who helps him as much as Lucius or Alfred, only to betray him at the end. I'd like for Selina Kyle to be the only love interest, this way the romance can be more fleshed out, with the tone of their romance being similar to the cat and mouse game in the comics.

Going back to Bane and Talia, I'd remove Talia from the story of the pit and make it solely Banes story. I'd like for him to escape as a man and to have references to his peak physical condition training and his knowledge of books. I'd also like references to his imprisonment as a child, details that add to why this man is such a force. After he escaped then he could've come across the League of Shadows as Bruce did, to be trained and in the process meeting Talia. With Talia she could've been with Ra's', with a reference to how Ra's' had found her again. This because in Batman Begins he said she was taken away, he never said she didn't get her back. I like the idea of Bane and Talia fulfilling a duty while Ra's' was terrorizing Gotham, and after coming back and seeing he failed they vouch to finish the job.

This is what I have for now, if you have any thoughts or comments please post them below, I'd like to see other peoples' takes on how things could've been done. Once again this is not to bash the movie, it's just to share ideas and think about things differently. Thanks for reading, farewell. P.S. Sorry if my article isn't structured properly, this is my first article and I'm learning as I go.

^^I think Bane would approve of her and Bruce having sex, because it was an essential part of the transfer of Wayne Enterprises, and the 'slow dagger'.

They are not married in the movie. When she leaves him, she says "goodbye my friend.". He definitely loved her, but I don't think it was romantic. He protected her in the prison I believe because he was also born in the prison or had at least been there since he was very young. He told Batman he was born in the shadows. Think he cared for her because he saw himself in her.

I would have them being married pointed out at the point of her reveal, and I would remove any romantic interaction between her and Bruce, instead have her as an accomplice such as John Blake and Gordon. that way Selina Kyle would be the only love interest, in my opinion in the movie their romance was underdeveloped. Once again this is an article about ideas on how it could've been changed

Ra's never mentioned his daughter in Begins, only his wife.

Bane isn't a henchman, he controls the henchmen.

If anything he is the lieutenant to Talia's commander, much like Darth Vader was with Sidious.

This version of Bane is too creepy to imagine being married or in a relationship with anyone, so it's good he wasn't romantically involved with Talia.

@Flamingoo Thanks for sharing your ideas, its an interesting concept. How would Selina Kyle play into it?

@ flamingo

Um, Selina existed in the film as the person that Bruce finally settles down with and leaves his past behind with. I would say thats a pretty important reason for her to be in the movie.
