Here's one i did before the actual casting process with Matt Damon as Cap. He was my top pick, but he's not the one, so whatever.



Here's one I recently did of Chris Evans as Captain America using a picture from Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. That costume lent itself well to the Bucky Barnes Captain America costume design, so that's what I went for. It's not exactly how I think it should be in the movie though.


I used that picture for several concept scenes.

I plan on doing more of these using different pictures of Evans and maybe with different costume designs. Hopefully when some good pictures of Hemsworth as Thor come out, I'll be able to put the Big 3 together!

Ouch! 3 dislikes and no comments! Anyone ever hear of constructive criticism? I might take it seriously, but more than likely, this is coming from people who couldn't do any better themselves but like to be critical of other people's work.

haha! Thanks LEEE777! I guess a lot of people are still kind of ticked that they chose him. Combine those with the people who hated Matt Damon for the role and I guess I've got a lot of hated pictures. :) Evans is Cap people! Not Ryan McPartlin! Not Armie Hammer! Not Jensen Ackles! Chris Evans! Get used to it!

I have a feeling that since Ackles probably turned down the role of Captain America he will probably turn down the role of Hawkeye. Guess Supernatural means too much to him. *sighs* he would be a good hawkeye though.

@Starsapphire, unless the shooting schedule didn't conflict, I think you're right, he probably would turn down Hawkeye. However, there's probably a better chance for him to play Hawkeye than Cap, because Hawkeye probably doesn't have to appear in as many movies.

I like 'em.
The 2nd shot next to the monitors looks the most 'real'.
In the second-last pic, if you dulled out the brightness/colours/contrast on Evans' face to match Downey's, it would look pretty realistic.
I hope you do more of these Avengers 'potential storyboard' pics!

work in these and they give a feel of how
things will be in the Marvel movies to come!

Thank you DDD! I really don't understand what all the hating is about. I support Chris Evans in this role,but I didn't cast the guy! It's not like I'm saying he's the ideal choice. Also, I did say that's not how I think the costume should look. It's just a sample I put together using the materials at my disposal. I realize it doesn't look real, but is that a reason for all the strong dislike?
If any of you who dislike it so much have suggestions on how to make it better, than by all means, I'm open.
