Starting with the official cast



For Toph I chose Isabelle Fuhrman. If you dont know who she is the actress that played Esther in the 2009 horror film Orphan.




Now with Zuko's sister Azula I chose Melinda Shankar. She plays Alli in Degrassi she is 18 and Dav Patel is 20. Any way in the show Zuko is older than Azula.




Now for Ty Lee I chose Nicole Anderson. She plays Macy in the Disney Channel Series JONAS.




Now for Mai I chose Christian Serratos

I like your Mai and Ty Lee pics alot (shes gonna be soo great on screen) but Toph I think should be more Asian (or maybe Black). And Melinda for Azula? While I am a fan of her, I just couldn't see it. An yes I watch Degrassi lol

Um... Just one issue with something you posted. Zuko is younger than Azula. She's even referenced him as "Baby Brother." I like your choice for Toph.

From what Shayamalan said, Toph is already cast and is Filipina and the rest of the earth benders will be Asian and some black. Any fire benders need to be Indian actresses.

I like it it has the right look for all of them but i don't know a about azula. Maybe Frieda Pinto could be a better Azula.

For Azula I chose, Vanesssa Lengies

She's hot, accrobattic and martial arts redy, and can play a good Bi*** which all make up Azula..

Until i see AIRBENDER 1 though, have no idea who anyone or characters are, hope it gets a sequel anyways, gr8 casting by the looks of it!

Camilla Bell should be Azula or Mai but I like your pics though.....can't wait to see the ruthless Azula and her friends on the big screen.

i think all the characters are great, for those who are talking about Melinda being Azula, look at the fire benders and Zuko and Ozai. they are indian so why cant she? she could probably look older thats about it. And besides theres most likely no second

sorry to burst your azula but M. Night Shyamalan is probably going to use Summer Bishil again like when he used her at the end of the first movie but I do like the picks for Mai and Ty Lee. As a fan of the cartoon series i also wish that the second one will be longer than the first.
