Justice League: The Cast

Justice League: The Cast

With Man of Steel premiering this summer us movie-goers can only wonder what exactly will Warner Bros. have in store for us when they shift focus to their epic ensemble team... The justice League!

before anything is announced, confirmed, and/or official its nice to give input on what should and could be. Here's a Justice League Cast plus some extras to go along!

Superman

Henry Cavill- He's currently playing Clark Kent/Superman in the soon to be released Man of Steel movie and even though people have yet to be blown away by his acting I still recommend he reprise his role in Justice League.

Matt Bomer-(White Collar)Has been a fan favorite for the role of Superman and my 2nd choice.

Wonder Woman

Mila Kunis- Like many people I was dissapointed to know that Megan Fox has no interest in playing the Princess of the Amazons, but that only makes it easier to put a great actress like Mila Kunis as front runner to play Wonder Woman. Beautiful and more talented than often given credit for, I strongly believe she can do the character justice.

Alexis Knapp-(ProjectX)She's a relatively new actress whose got a gorgeous face and decent acting chops. She is far from the most popular name, but for a movie that'll be stacked with A-List actors/actresses it couldn't hurt to have a young actress who's fairly unknown, it may actually just help especially budget wise.

Debora Nascimento-{Incredible Hulk) a brazilian model turned actress whose name is probably just as onkown as Alexis Knapp, but if theres anyone who can potray Wonder Woman's beauty it would be a MODEL turned actress, right? Maybe, but I dont think she's a ba choice.

Green Lantern(Hal Jordan)

Eric Dane-(Grey's Anatomy) I honestly have nothing against Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as the Green Lantern, though Eric Dane has always been my personal favorite to bring Hal Jordan to life. Playing several years on TV's most successful medical drama, he can without a doubt bring the seriousness to Hal Jordan that so many peope felt that the 2011 Green Lantern movie failed to deliver.

Ryan Reynolds-His portrayal of Hal Jordan was poorly received back in summer of 2011. Though I believe if he were to come back we would see improvments on his side and the creative talents as well. While Reynolds still isn't my favorite I think he still has more to offer, and it'll be nice having a known factor going into the Justice League movie.

Aquaman

Anson Mount-(Hell on Wheels)I find it odd how many people say they'd like to see Anson be the next to helm the black cape and bat insignia, but I think (keep his beard) he was born to be Aquaman. A hero who's making a popular comeback and just needs Mr.Mount to take him to the net level... Cinema.

Batman

David Lyons-(Revolution) So most pople didn't too much care for the last time David Lyons played a superhero in the short-lived, "The Cape" show on NBC, hoever, I think its all about what hero you play. Batman and David Lyons is certainly an unexpected matchup, but it wouldnt be the first time an unexpected actor has taken a superhero franchise further than thought possble.

Martian Manhunter

Harry Lennix-Wisdom. Wise.. oh and Wisdom. The three things that are needed to play the Martian Manhunter and if Harry Lennix doesn't have a certain aura of experience around him then no one else does. Bold statement I know. In my eyes an older actor is needed to breathe life into who the last Martian.

Cyborg

Idris Elba- He's had supporting roles in both Thor and Ghostrider 2. I believe it's time he gets a little more spotlight in a superhero movie, and while he could do great in the roles of John Stewart and Martian Manhunter, this is the hero for him! Cgi technology and Idris's great acting makes for an amazing matchup.

The Flash(Barry Allen)

Jake Gyllehaal- Believe it or not, but The Flash was the most difficult to cast. I really don't know why. He needs comedy obviously, but also be able to deliver a serious approach when needed, and it wasn't until I thought back to his role in last year's "End of Watch" that I figured that Jake Gyllenhaal can BE Barry Allen. The Flash.

Shazam

Joe Manganiello- Ah, Joe. Did you know he was once up for the lead role as Superman in Man of Steel? Well he was and ever since he has made it public that he WANTS to play a superhero. Ah, passion. So why Shazam you ask? Well a while back Dwayne"The Rock"Johnson said in an interview how he would like to play Black Adam!... you see what i'm getting at don't you? Yea you do. While Joe wouldnt be playing Superman, if there were ever a closer or a more similr hero to Superman than Shazam then I sure haven't seen him.

Green Lantern(John Stewart)

Lyiq Bent- He's not on the same level of Mark Wahlberg or Will Smith, but Lyriq isn't a slouch in the acting department. He's good at what he does, and physically he is in great shape to potray John Stewart.

Green Arrow

Stephen Amell- Currently playing Green Arrow on the CW's "Arrow", he has been giving outstanding peformances episode after episode. I'm not too big on TV shows crossing over with a movie (although I dont know how often it happens), but I would be perfectly fine if Stephen brought Green Arrow to the BIG screen.

Daniel Craig- The Actor who her just starred in the highest grossing Bond movie ever, Skyfall. Daniel has become known for being able to play characters who can be dangerous and yet charming. Sound like certain green hero?

Supergirl

Tracey Spiridakos-(Revolution)With a few episodes on Syfy's Being Human it wasn't until late last year that we were able to see just how well she could act in NBC's hit new show, Revolution. Playing the cousin to Superman you have to admit she surprisingly looks like she could be a cousin to Henry Cavill.

Charlotte Sullivan-(Rookie Blue)My 2nd choice for Supergirl.

Amanda Seyfried- She is a close call with Charlotte, but I decided to put her as my 3rd choice for Supergirl

Villians... From Lex Luthor to Deathstroke and so on. these next castings are of villians.

Black Adam

Dwayne"The Rock"Johnson-Assuming you haven't been skiping through this article, then you read the part where I spoke of how Dwayne himself said he'd like to play Black Adam, and I without a doubt approve.

Deathstroke

Stephen Lang- You may remember Stephen from being that heartless soldier in the movie Avatar, but I think he was meant to remembered for a different role... Deathstroke the Terminator.

Vandal Savage

Gerald Butler- An immortal caveman to summarize what Vandal Savage is, and if Gerald's potrayal of King Leonidus is any indication of what he could do with Vandal then we are in for a treat.

Cheetah

Elsa Pataky- Are you wondering what made me choose this FastFive actress as a bonified villian... well, vision.

Lex Luthor

Mark Strong- Say what you will about the Green Lantern movie, but Mark Strong was perfectly cast as Sinestro. I think he can bring that same coldness to Lex Luthor. Someone has to, why not Mark Strong?

Harley Quinn

Emily Browning- Uninvited,Suckerpunch, Sleeping Beauty... Unfortunately as great an actress tha Emily Browning is she doesn't too often take the world by storm, but her amazing beauty is that of Harley Quinn's and I know she has the talent to understand the character.

Ra's Al Ghul

Gerald Butler- Surprised to see Mr. Butler casted twice?

Joker

Eric Balfour-(Haven) I'm actually not a big fan of Haven, but there's something in the structure of Eric's face that often reminds me of Joker, and I can't help but feel like this is an oppurtunity that he would take and run with creating a memorable movie villain.

No more Villians.. All though theres still more. From Catwoman to Jim Gordon all the way to Starfire! Enjoy!

Catwoman

Meagan Good

Red Hood

Sam Witwer

Starfire

Summer Glau

Alfred Pennyworth

Sam Neill

Nightwing

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Carol Ferris

Eva Mendez

Batgirl

Anna Popplewell

Lois Lane

Amy Adams

So, you made a Justice League fancast with basically half of the entire DC universe in it? They cant have THAT many heroes in one film it's just plain ridiculous, and besides Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and Shazam all have basically the same powers so why do you need all five of them? Pick one or two...

I cant say I neccessarily disagree with your choices, except for JGL he would've been cool as Nightwing in the nolan verse but that is over now and it should stay that way.

Anna popplewell??? No...just no that ones a joke in hoping?

Other than that I can't say I disagree, although most of these shouldn't even appear in a JLA movie if you ask me.

Saoirse Ronan's eyes are amazing

Woah not saying all those heroes need be on the Justice League, they were Justice League options if you will for a possible team. And sure JGL as Nightwing never happened but if a JGL/Nightwing spinoff ever appened don't act either of you wouldn't be excited in fanboy cheer, because yes you would be.
And I agree JGL isn't Dick Greyson, but that could easily be changed in several effectie creative ways, such unsupported negativity. insted of looking for whats wrong do what most people dont do, and look for whats right&good. I agree, her eyes are astonishing.{:

And Anna Popplewell I was serious, completely serious

The Idea was that people see the casting of the main 7 Superman, batman, etc. and see some extra. of course an entire film wouldnt have that many.

Overusage aside, you do realize that Idris Elba isn't a young man anymore, don't you? And, um, Cyborg's originally a Teen Titan, which means he's supposed to still be around his teenage years...get what I mean? I adore him as an actor, and I greatly despise him being picked as either John Stewart or J'onn J'onzz, but Cyborg? That's simply the most unfitting role people pick him for that I've ever seen.

And I thought this couldn't be any worse than Idris Elba as Cyborg, but...boy, was I wrong. Gerard Butler in two different roles in the same universe (yes, I'm [frick]ing surprised, and the questioning of the readers' inevitable confusion won't provide them with any explanation), the persistence of Arrow being connected to the movie universe when it's clearly not (which is becoming just as bad as what's happening with Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy), Joseph Gordon-Levitt again...to be fair, the rest of the cast is pretty decent, but those I mentioned above have already plummeted it far downhill.

This is pretty bad.

Not gonna waste my time pointing out every flaw bc with the enormity of this fan-cast it'd take me forever.

But a few things.

Your ages are all over the place.
You have wayyyy to many characters

and the biggest- Mila Kunis as Wonder Woman????

WW is an Amazon. Mila Kunis is like 4 ft tall 90 lbs.

Cmon man.

I'm sorry but this is not very good. I will say that your Joker pick is interesting, and I love your Red Hood pick.

This is SAD!

Come back when you actually write a FULL-ARTICLE!

This is all over the map and makes my head hurt!

Ancient IDRIS ELBA as barely-out-of-his-teens CYBORG?

Midget MILA KUNIS as the AMAZON PRINCESS?

Are you kidding me?
Seriously, are you kidding?

I'm sorry but this is just BAD!

Man, FANFIC has gone to THE POOPER!
