Spider Man 4's biggest enemies are Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire!

Spidey says enough to its movie director and main actor!

Some good news and some really bad news. The good news is that a Spider Man 4 movie is on the works for around May of 2011, the bad and crappy news is that the Spider Man Franchise doesn’t get rid of its biggest foes: Movie Director Sam Raimi and main acting role, Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider Man. One of my all time favorite super hero characters starts to walk again the thin line of appreciation, since the last lousy movie direction and wussy performance from Spider Man 3. It’s like if movie director and main actor have worked out a scheme called: How to ruin out a perfectly favorite Marvel character and keep on trying? Raimi’s filmmaking horror background is really terrorizing out “Spidey” fans. While Maguire’s unmanly acting is making Spider Man look out like a pussy hero!

So what’s next for “Spidey“? Peter Parker was a regular college dude; sometimes naive, sometimes out of cash, always out of time, but he was never such an ass. So far a start, they should stop on taking the character to a point that will not connect with fans. It’s not like if the “Arachnid” should take a Dark Knight plot road, but should keep it faithful to its essence and characters. There are countless times in which “Spidey” faced many villains at the same moment and never did a cowardly cry for help as he did in Spider Man 3!!! If there is something magical about “Spidey” is that he knows how to deal, mock, fight, piss off and evade all types of villains and get away with it, like a walk in the park. Well, gotta admit it, he had it hard a couple of times, but definitely, not like the last flick disappointment. Keep original “Webhead” traits, keep villains coming and keep them true to what they are.

Hype is starting to buzz out on which villains should appear in the “Webheads” fourth delivery. Besides Raimi and Maguire, finally we’ll get to see Lizard, probably a nice looking Black Cat will come into the view, Carnage, and rumored but not yet confirmed probably, probably Rhino. Marvel and Sony Pictures could revamp out fans by putting Raimi and Maguire out of “Spideys” scene for good.

the first two Spidey films were excellent, why is it just because Spidey 3 flopped that everyone has forgotten how Raimi made 2 excellent films not to mention the best superhero movies that had yet to appear. at the time nothing had been made that was better then the Spider-man movies, I still love them and I'm a huge Spidey fan, yeah there were changes but nothing to big to grip about other then Dunst as MJ. Maguire just needs to change how he portrays parker and be more comical as spidey and he will do fine, but Dunst really needs to go, I say keep Raimi he knows his Spidey, the last film was bad because they didn't let him have control.

Osisris, I agree. I think some of the things Raimi did in SM3 where his way of saying, "[frick] You!!" to the studio for meddling. They forced Venom on him, he didn't want it. He has even gone on record stating that he doesn't like Venom or Carnage as characters, though he also humbly acknowledged that it is he that fails to see what makes them great.

Sam didnt have full control over Spider-man 3 the writers did. They said that fans wanted Venom so they put him in right at the end and basicly every thing that people hated about Spidy 3 was the writers fault not Sams or Tobeys. Then again thats my opinion on Sam and Tobey.

i am hoping that in spidey 4 raimi will remedy the venom saga. i hate the fact that he was forced to write in venom.
true fans wanted venom but they also wanted him done right!
i love raimi's direction for spidey minus the lack of jokes. of course that could just be maguire's problem: he has almost no sense of humor.
but i have noticed that every franchise has it's bad apple.
X3, Spidey 3, Star Wars Episode 1, etc.
But these franchises all have the oppotunity to heal 2 1/2 hours of disappointment by creating an awe inspiring sequel!
i pray that proves true for spidey!

@TheMyth@ yeah I agree that he was telling them off with that film, the emo peter, and the two dancing scenes, was a big F you to everyone forcing him to change stuff I'm sure the movie would have been up to par with the first two if they had not imposed.

Yeah I can see Raimi doing that. Everything he does is distinctly 'Raimi' so having these suits come in and telling him to be 'less Raimi' would likely drive the man nuts, to the point he might sabatoge the project, ruin the suits reputation, and either end the spidey line as it is or clean house.

Yea, have you guys seen the DVD special features and interviews with him? Raimi is quite an asshole with a wicked independent streak, the kind that gets things done. This is why I am pretty sure SM3 was his middle finger waving in the air at Sony, along with this long wait for SM4. His way of teaching them a lesson.

Tigui - THANK-YOU,THANK-YOU,THANK-YOU,THANK-YOU,THANK-YOU,THANK-YOU! I'have been screaming this at the top of my lungs for a while now! FINALLY, someone else who agrees with me! To all you who disagree, let me first say that 'Yes' SM I & II WERE very good films. With that said, Tobey McGuire must DIE! Peter Parker started off as a BOOK-WORM, not a DORK! McGuire's inability to play anything other than uber-nerd (himself) is getting OLD (30 minutes into the first film and I was actually rooting for Flash Thomson to shove Peter in a locker)! Yes, it KINDA' worked for the first film (and MAYBE the second), but for god's sake, the boy's supposed to be in college now! Is Tobey going to keep on whining all throughout the complete story-arc?! If so, somebody shoot me now!

As for Raimi, as I've said before, 'YES' he DID do a good job on I & II, BUT... there is NO excuse for III! A convoluted plot, too many villain that were under-developed (not to mention killing off the ULTIMATE Spiderman heavy - Venom!), and... 'Disco-Stu' Peter Parker?! All he needed to do was put nipples on the Spidey-suit to complete his Schumacher-esque failure! Raimi should slowly lowered into a vat of boiling human excrement by his toenails for that steaming pile!

While we're at it, get rid of Kirstin Dunst too! Her 'acting' in all three films has been nothing but a whiny one-dimensional half-@ssed attempt at mediocrity. In addition, Mary Jane Watson is supposed to be an super-hottie - Dunst isn't even worth being called 'Plain Jane'!

I'm not saying 'REBOOT', I'm saying 'RE-CAST'! Don't get me wrong, I think that the franchise can go forward from where it is, it just needed a SERIOUS shaking-up of the players to keep it fresh.

"schumacher-esque failure" thanks loganoniel, I now have a new term for shitty CBMs.

I'm cool with keeping raimi, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt cause SM 2 was awesome, but I'm tired of seeing emo parker (and I aint just talking bout the dancing). I dont recall spidey being such a whiney douche, or MJ for that matter. maybe they should replace dunst but she did do a good job with what she was given. not her fault MJ was written as an overly dramatic C U Next Tuesday.

Kill Kirsten Dunst. She must really know how to suck a d(*K to make it as far as she has in Hollywood. BECAUSE IT SURE ISN'T HER LOOKS OR HER ACTING!!!!
