Who's William Fichtner?


Why he's the guy that the Joker famously quotes to in the beginning scene "What ever doesn't kill you simply makes you stranger"... I love Fichtner's acting ability, and his scene with Ledger had me thinking. Did that Bank manager die,, "I assume he was the manager". If he didn't would he have decided to take on a role as a villain. In my honest opinion I could see it. After all do we know he's dead, and I'm pretty sure that smoke bomb would have done some strange things. Everyones got some opinion on their pick for the Riddler, but I don't want Fichtner for that. Even though he would do the role justice. I prefer that he be Black Mask.

Good point. I dont think he died and maybe that would make him become the black mask, actually i could see him playing that role.

No. If I remember right I think he lived. But yeah I could see him as Black Mask too.

What I want to know is why he didnt immediately take the smoke bomb out of his mouth, after the joker left.

StrangemannX09: If you're a big fan of Fichtner then you should check him out in Prison Break: Season 2 - his performance in that season (and 3 & 4) is pretty amazing! Though make sure to watch Season 1 or the show will make no sense to you..! :)

He's a great actor, and yeah, i didn't see it before but he would be a great black mask

Great article, great idea. Really like this guy and think he is an excellent actor. He could definitely pull off BM.

great idea. this guy would kill it. and he was obviously in the mob so he could easily have the knowledge and connections to take over now that everyone else is dead.

Fichtner is an excellent character actor! Have seen him on TV a lot before Prison Break and he always puts in a great performance.

That would be a great twist to the story, having him as BLack Mask! Hey, didja ever notice Black Mask's initials are BM? Is that because he's da shizz? :D :D :D
