The Problem with the last movie to me was the script, they had good actors, but the script made it cheesy.

If I had to cast a Director it would be Christopher Nolan to be honest with you. Most of you will probably have a problem with that, but if you look at the movies that Nolan has made, all of them have been good.

Daredevil is a dark character, he is not like Spider-Man,Captain America or any other hero that is meant attract a younger generation.

If Daredevil is to succeed, I think it needs Christopher Nolan or somebody with a similar directing style.

Leonardo Dicaprio as Matt Murdock




Adrianne Palicki as Elektra





Laurence Fishburne as Wilson Fisk




Jason Statham as Bullseye




Arnold Vosloo as Zoltan Drago

terrible choice for Bullseye. And Nolan isn't the only Director that can do "dark" and "brooding" superheroes(BTW go and read the new Daredevil series)try and be a bit more original with the directing choices.

Dicaprio is a good actor but not right for DD.

NO to Palicki.

did you cast Fishburne because he's black, like MCD was in the original film? have you ever read a Daredevil comic?

Statham....wow. NO!

so you cast Drago but not Karen Page, Foggy Nelson, or Stick. huh....at least you have your priorities in line.

@RunDTC I cast Fishburne because he's a great actor and out of anybody else, I think Fishburne could do the best job as the Kingpin.

I chose Statham because he wanted to be Murdock, but I figured he would be better suited for Bullseye rather than Daredevil and I was afraid to cast anybody else for the role.

DiCaprio and Fishburne are great actors, but I don't see them as Daredevil and Kingpin.
I was actually gonna use Palicki in my upcoming DD fancast, but I have someone else as Elektra. And Statham's my pick for Bullseye too.

If DiCaprio should play any superhero, he should play Aquaman. I think he'd be a fantastic Aquaman.

@ It's great to know somebody agrees with my Bullesye pick and I could see DiCaprio playing Aquaman, even though he might not be the best choice.

I like your Bullseye and Elektra choices. I think that Brian Austen Green should be Matt, though.

@jjmeylar I'm glad you don't hate my picks like some people do.

How come when everybody brings up who they would like to be cast in a certain role it's usually a small name actor?

I'm not saying they are bad choices, but I was thinking people had bigger names in mind.

Unlike most ppl here, I find this to be a GREAT cast!

Its a lot... no... a HELL of a lot different from these DD fancast Ive seen, where Michael C Hall is always the pick-YUCK!

You decided to break out that conformity and cast known thespians but also great choices!

I absolutely LOVE Fishburne as Kingpin! It's 2011, race reversing is acceptable!

Who cares what these other users think... If they dont like it, then maybe they should stop commenting and posting who they think should have been on YOUR article, and create their own article... Hopefully ppl would pay more attention to them, hunh?


PS: on a director for this film... what was the guy who directed "The Departed"?

this lost me right from the beginning. i like Dicaprio. he is a solid actor, and most of his movies turn out being pretty damn good, but he is not Matt Murdoch. Palicki is attractive, but i don't see Elektra with her. i like Fishbourne, but i think the dude who was tony soprano should be the Kingpin. i like the Bullseye pick though

Adrianne is SEXY! She is such a talented actress...But I think she would be a better Karen Page. Good try, keep it :)

@Jjmeylar I understand that actors need to be in big time movie, but do they really need to get the big time roles right away?
