This is my pitch for Phase 4 of the MCU (I'll include a couple of Phase 3 movies to explain the background). I am assuming that Marvel will get the rights for the F4 and the X-Men.
PHASE 3 | Movie 7 | 2018
INFINITY WAR- Part 1
I want this movie to be based on the terrestrial part of Jonathan Hickman's Infinity story arc. The Black Order invades the earth in search for the last Infinity Stone(s). There is full scale war on New York, Wakanda, Attilan and Atlantis. The movie would end with Thanos completing the Infinity Gauntlet and erasing half of the sentient life of the universe.
PHASE 3 | Movie 10 | 2019
INFINITY WAR- Part 2
I know this name has been denied but In my head, this movie would take place a few days after the first movie ends. It would be based on both the cosmic part of Hickman's Infinity and Starlin's Infinity Gauntlet. In order to impress Mistress Death, Thanos decides to give the heroes a small chance to win on a grand galactic war (instead of just a battle). Earth heroes unite with the Shi'ar, the Kree and the Skrulls on a galactic council. In the film we would see Cap lifting Mjolnir, Spiderman finding the Venom Symbiote, Adam Warlock, the cosmic entities and all the awesome stuff from the comics.
PHASE 3 | Movie 11 | 2019
INHUMANS
Following the events of the Infinity War, Attilan is destroyed. Black Bolt struggles to rebuild his city but little does he know about his brother Maximu's plans to overthrow him using the Terrigen Crystals. The movie would end with the Terrigen Bomb being launched and thousands of people across the world being turned into mutants.
I know that Inhumans is not supposed to be a part of Phase 3. But I still have hope for this since I think it would be perfect to close the Phase in a similar way that Antman closed Phase 2, a smaller movie after the big Avengers movie. I believe the Inhumans will show up on Infinity War, and the launch of the Terrigen bomb would be perfect to kick off Phase 4.
PHASE 4 | Movie 1 | 2020
AVENGERS INITIATIVE
This is an original idea I had for a prequel to kick start Phase 4. Imagine this: In the 1980s, SHIELD recruits Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne, Namor, Captain Mar-Vell and the original Nick Fury to take down MODOK, an AI designed by AIM. The movie would be focused on SHIELD, and it would provide a fresh start for Phase 4. I know this sounds weird, so

PHASE 4 | Movie 2 | 2020
X-MEN- SEASON ONE
This movie would be set 3 years after the events of Infinity War and Inhumans. As I said, the Terrigen Mists were launched and thousands of people have suddenly gained superpowers. The media calls them mutants and they represent a big danger for society. Charles Xavier decides to create a school for the young who can't control their powers. Together they must face off Eric Lensherr, Charle's former friend, and his Brotherhood, hell bent on the destruction of mankind an the rule of mutants.
I actually liked AoA, and I want Fox to make a cool Sinister movie next. But i'm not sure how much more they can take from that universe after that. I don't think a cosmic adventure would fit the Fox-verse, and Hugh Jackman is leaving the franchise so yes, I say the rights should go back to Marvel. Now I maybe alone in this but I just love the original team and their yellow costumes and I just want to see a straight X-Men vs. Brotherhood movie full of emotion and optimism that could be a truly fresh and epic starting point for Phase 4 and beyond.
PHASE 4 | Movie 3 | 2020
FANTASTIC FOUR
Following the example of Spiderman Homecoming, there would be no origin story for these guys this time. The four founders of the Future Fundation would have gained their powers a couple of years before the start of the movie. The movie would open with a montage of footage explaining who the characters and the Future Foundation are (it would be very cool for example to see a clip of them meeting Namor in Atlantis). Then, it would cut to the F4 about to start a mission to the centre of the Earth, where they would meet the Moleman, his monsters and the molids. Eventually, the movie would climax with a big fight against the Moleman's huge monsters in New York City. It would be very important for this movie to be character driven. PHASE 4 | Movie 4 | 2021
HULK 2
This movie would be a classic Hulk story. The obvious villain would be the Leader. It would be a fight between force and brain, but Hulk would ultimatley win because he has something the Leader lacks, heart. Have Betty Ross, Rick Jones, Thunderbolt Ross, Jennifer Walters and at least a scene with the grey Hulk. The Leader should have his own henchmen too like Abomination, the Absorbing Man and Zzzax. In the end of the movie, we would get a glimpse of Red Hulk and She-Hulk.
PHASE 4 | Movie 5 | 2021
SPIDER-MAN 2
During the second part of Infinity War, Peter Parker would have found the Venom Symbiote on a distant planet. He would have used it in the final battle against Thanos, and when this movie starts, he would have been using it for a couple of months. But he has become more aggressive and ruthless, severily beating up bad guys and alienating his friends. Realizing this, he ditches the suit early in the movie (after around 40 minutes) and Eddie Brock picks it up. Eddie, fueled by the anger and hate of the symbiote, sets out to kill Spiderman.
PHASE 4 | Movie 6 | 2021
THE WOLVERINE
Hugh Jackman is retiring from the Wolverine role after 15 years. There is no doubt that his take on the character is awesome, but now it is time to see all the aspects of the character that we haven't seen. AVENGERS- Under Siege
Infinity War is probably going to be the biggest movie ever made, so the logical way to follow it is to go smaller and more personal. Under Siege is probably the most classic Avengers story. The heroe's most personal and classic foes band together to form the Masters of Evil to destroy everything the Avengers hold dear. They capture every hero and take the Avengers Tower. They are led by Baron Zemo, and include the Enchantress, the Executioner, Abomination, Ulysses Klaw, Crimsom Dynamo, Radioactive Man, the Grim Reaper and his brother Wonder Man (who would eventually betray the Masters and join the Avengers).
The only problem I find with this is the amount of characters. It just can't be as personal with dozens of characters, so they should probably leave Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider Man and more out of the movie.
