Hello! It’s RedHood here and I’d like to share with you my dream cast for a Spider-Man movie. I don’t recast anybody that has been in a Spider-Man film in their same role. All fresh faces! Now you must remember two things
1. TASM never existed (as long as your reading this article)
2. I don’t expect these people to get these roles, I just want them to.
Anyways, without further ado here is my fan cast for a Spider-Man franchise!!!!!!

SPIDER-MEN

Spiderman:
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became the Amazing Spider-Man!

Grant Gustin (Age: 23, Height: 6’2, Upcoming Flash TV Series, Arrow): After watching 5 minutes of part 1 of the Arrow season 2 mid-season finale I loved this version of Barry Allen. He was great, but he also reminded me of some other comic book character. It finally came to me, Peter Parker! Grant Gustin would be a perfect Peter Parker. He has the awkwardness down and has the look. This could be his breakout movie role that pushes him from the small screen to the big screen!

Honorable Mentions:
Aaron Taylor Johnson
Logan Lerman

Miles Morales:
The current Ultimate Universe version of Spider-Man is a 13 year old kid named Miles Morales from Brooklyn; who takes on the Spider-Man identity after Peter Parker's death. Miles discovers spider powers of his own after he was bitten by a spider 11 months before Peter's death.

Kwesi Boakye (Age: 14, Height: ?, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, Flight): After a lot of back lash on Jaden Smith being casted in this role I decided to change it to Kwesi Boakye. Kwesi is a good actor who has done small roles and this could launch him in to stardom.

Honorable Mentions:
Jacob Latimore
Donald Glover
Jaden Smith

Scarlet Spider/Ben Reilly:
Ben Reilly was the second and most successful clone of Spider-Man created by the Jackal. A superhero known as the Scarlet Spider, Reilly later replaced Peter Parker for a time as Spider-Man.

Alex Pettyfer (Age: 23, Height: 5’11, I Am Number Four, Magic Mike): Alex Pettyfer is a great young actor and has carried multiple movies. I feel like he’d be great as Ben Reilly and has the look down, being that Ben is blonde. I’d love to see him in a CBM and this should be the one.

Honorable Mentions:
Aaron Taylor Johnson

Scarlet Spider/Kaine:
Kaine was the first Spider-clone created by Professor Miles Warren, the Jackal. He has been cured of his cellular degeneration and is the new Scarlet Spider.

Liam Hemsworth (Age: 23, Height: 6’3, Hunger Games Quadrilogy, Paranoia): I want this to be the role that makes him more than Thor’s little brother amongst the CBM community. He’s a talented actor and looks like the current Kaine.

Honorable Mentions:
None

Spider-Man 2099:
Spider-Man 2099 is a fictional character, a comic book superhero created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi in 1992 for Marvel Comics' Marvel 2099 line. His secret alter ego is Miguel O'Hara, a brilliant geneticist living in New York in the year 2099 A.D. who is attempting to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and later suffers a related accident that causes half his DNA to be re-written with a spider's genetic code. O'Hara is the first Latino Spider-Man.

Aaron Taylor Johnson (Age: 23, Height: 5’11, Kick-Ass 1 & 2, Savages): ATJ is a fantastic actor. Yes he is Quicksilver in the upcoming Avengers 2, but he still would be perfect in this role. I can definitely see him as the Spider-Man of 2099

Honorable Mentions:
Emile Hirsch

Agent Venom:
Flash attended the same high school and university as Peter Parker, who would later be known as Spider-Man. He frequently bullied Peter, but was actually Spider-Man's greatest fan. Flash would later befriend Peter, and became a decorated war hero. He is currently Agent Venom, the host of the Venom symbiote.

Garret Hedlund (Age: 29, Height: 6’2, Tron Legacy, On the Road): Hedlund is a great actor who I think would be great in the role of Flash Thompson’s Venom. Yes I consider him a “Spider-Man” since he’s closer to a hero than a villain, sometimes.

Honorable Mentions:
Jake Abel

ALLIES

Aunt May:
Aunt May is the mother figure and aunt-by-marriage to Peter Parker (Spider-man), although it was only recently that she discovered her nephew's secret. She's one of the most important people in Pete's life and we've already seen that he will do everything for her.

Meryl Streep (Age: 64, Height: 5’6, The Iron Lady, The Devil Wears Prada): Meryl Streep is a fantastic actress and would be amazing in the role of Aunt May.

Honorable Mentions:
none

Uncle Ben:
Peter Parker's Uncle and father figure whose death was the main inspiration for Peter becoming Spider-Man. Ben Parker taught Peter that "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility!"

Jeff Bridges (Age: 64, Height: 6’2, The Big Lebowski, True Grit): Jeff Bridges is a very talented actor and would be great in this role. He doesn’t play a lot of roles like this and I’d like to see him too.

Honorable Mentions:
none

Harry Osborn:
Harry Osborn is the best friend of Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man. His father is Norman Osborn, a global industrialist and billionaire.

Colton Haynes (Age: 25, Height: 5’9, Arrow, Teen Wolf): Colton Haynes would be the perfect Harry to me. He’d be more of a Ultimate version. The cool kid that’s best friends with the nerd.

Honorable Mentions:
Alex Pettyfer
Liam Hemsworth

Mary Jane Watson:
Mary Jane Watson is the major love interest of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. She married him but didn't(!), now she's one of the few people who know who he is, and still supports him as his closest friend and confidante.

Jane Levy(Age: 24, Height: 5’2, Suburgatory, Evil Dead): I decided to replace Ariana Grande with Jane Levy. I think Jane Levy is a talented actress who would do great in this role. She is talented and attractive which are two musts for the person playing MJ.

Honorable Mentions:
Mary Elizabeth Winstead
Ariana Grande
Emma Stone

Gwen Stacy:
Gwen Stacy is the first true love of Peter Parker. She is also the daughter of Captain George Stacy. She's best known for her tragic death, being thrown off from the Brooklyn Bridge by the Green Goblin.

Diana Agron (Age: 27, Height: 5’6, Glee, I Am Number Four): Diana Agron is a good actress and convinced me she could play this role after seeing her in I Am Number Four.

Honorable Mentions:
Emily Bett Rickards

Black Cat:
Former cat burglar Felicia Hardy became a crime fighter when she became romantically attracted to and involved with Spider-Man. Felicia has the ability to instill "bad luck" around others - this comes in handy when fighting crime!

Jennifer Lawrence (Age: 23, Height: 5’10, The Hunger Games Quadrilogy, American Hustle): Jennifer Lawrence is a great, academy award winning, actress. She’s be great as Black cat another one of Spidey’s many love interests. She has the look, body, acting ability, and athletic ability for it.

Honorable Mentions:
Diana Agron
Keira Knightley

J. Jonah Jameson:
J. Jonah Jameson is the former employer of Peter B. Parker and remains an aggravate of Spider-Man. He was once the chief editor and publisher of the Daily Bugle, a New York newspaper, but has since become the duly-elected mayor of New York City.

Hugh Laurie (Age: 54, Height: 6’2, House, The Oranges): I think he is the only person that can replace J. K. Simmons. He would do an awesome job as JJJ and even has the look down like JKS had.

Honorable Mentions:
none

Captain Stacy:
Captain George Stacy is the father of Peter Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy. He was a retired Captain from the New York Police Department.

Dennis Quaid (Age: 59, Height: 6’0, At Any Price, The Day After Tomorrow): Dennis Quaid would be a great fit for Captain Stacy. He’s a talented actor who plays roles like these very well.

Honorable Mentions:
Marc Harmon

VILLAINS

Norman Osborn:
Known for many years as the Green Goblin and Spider-Man's arch-enemy, Osborn fooled the world into thinking he's a hero under the guise of the Iron Patriot and outed many heroes as cowards. His downfall was caused by his own insanity when he led a Siege on Asgard.

Jason Isaacs (Ae: 50, Heiht: 5’11, Patriot, Awake): Jason Isaacs is a fantastic actor and I would love to see him play Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. He’s perfect for this role!

Honorable Mentions:
Jon Hamm

Venom/Eddie Brock:
Eddie Brock bonded to the alien symbiote after it was discarded by Spider-Man, becoming the first Venom. Brock was later Anti-Venom, but the symbiote was lost during Spider-Island. He has recently been forcibly bonded to the Toxin symbiote by the Crime Master.

Dane DeHaan (Age: 27, Height: 5’7, Chronicle, Kill Your Darlings): Dane DeHaan is a terrific actor. I’d love to see him play eddie brock. He proved in Chronicle that he can play the evil type of character that Venom needs to be. The only other character I could see him playing in a Spider-Man movie is Carnage (or a Harry Osborn that turns into Goblin like we’re getting).

Honorable Mentions:
Sam Witwer

Carnage:
Carnage is the offspring of the alien symbiote Venom. It bonded with the crazed serial killer, Cletus Kasady, thus creating one of Spider-Man's most murderous, brutal, and lethal adversaries.

Michael C. Hall (Age: 42, Height: 5’10, Dexter, Kill Your Darlings): I’d LOVE to see Michael C. Hall as Carnage. I think he can really bring the killer aspect to Carnage that is a must when putting the character in a movie.

Honorable Mention:
Jackie Earle Haley

Doc Ock:
A former nuclear physicist and atomic researcher, Dr. Otto Octavius's life changed forever when one of his experiments went horribly wrong. From that day forward, he has set out to prove his superior intellect in a number of ways, but these plans are usually thwarted by Spider-Man.

Christoph Waltz (Age: 57, Height: 5’7, Django Unchained, Inglorious Bastards): Christoph Waltz is an amazing actor who would OWN in this role. He’d be so perfect as the slightly crazy evil scientist.

Honorable Mentions:
none

Kraven:
A famous big game hunter who became a mercenary and later developed an intense obsession with restoring honor to his name. Kraven has been known as a major threat for Spider-Man and leaving a legacy during his demise.

Jason Momoa (Age: 34, Height: 6’4, Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian): Jason Momoa would be a great Kraven. He has the right look, the acting ability, and the physique.

Honorable Mentions:
none

Chameleon:
Dmitri Smerdyakov, AKA "The Chameleon" was first member of an inexperienced Spider-Man's rogue's gallery. The chameleon is an elite spy and a master of disguise, using a variety of masks, technology, and other inventive techniques to flawless mimic the appearance and mannerisms of virtually anyone. Although he has been revealed to be the half-brother of Kraven The Hunter, the face behind his trade-mark white mask – worn even beneath his other masks – has never been seen.

Matthew Fox (Age: 47, Height: 6’2, Alex Cross, Lost): Matthew Fox would be perfect in this role. I’d want to see Chameleon as a serial killer that is perfect at framing people for murder. If you’ve seen Alex Cross you know why I’d want Mr. Fox to play Chameleon. If yo haven’t, watch the clips below!

Honorable Mentions:
Christoph Waltz

Electro:
One of Spider-Man's most dangerous enemies. The electric human dynamo known as Electro has constantly been a major threat for the Amazing Spider-Man.

Ben Foster (Age: 33, Height: 5’9, Lone Survivor, The Mechanic): Foster is a great actor who always delivers a great performance. He’s been cast in this role before, but I see him as a perfect Electro.

Honorable Mentions:
Tom Felton

Hobgoblin:
Roderick Kingsley became a worthy heir of the Goblin legacy, creating his own identity of the Hobgoblin rather than being just another Green Goblin clone.

Hugo Weaving (Age: 53, Height: 6’2, Cloud Atlas, V for Vendetta): Hugo wEaving is a tremendous actor who would be great in this role. I’d love to see him play Kingsley in a Spider-Man movie. Imagine that smile on Hobgolbin. *Cue Goosebumps*

Lizard:
During an experiment Dr. Curtis Connors accidentally turned into a ferocious reptilian monster who seeks to turn humans into lizards like himself. The Lizard is one of Spider-Man’s oldest and deadliest foes while ironically, his alter ego is a close friend and former teacher of Spidey’s alter ego Peter Parker.

Kevin McKidd (Age: 40, Height: 6’0, Grey’s Anatomy, Brave): I think Kevin McKidd would be great as Curt Connors/Lizard. He’s a talented actor and I’d love to see his portrayal of Dr. Connors journey.

Honorable Mentions:
none.

Rhino:
Brawn over brains. The Rhino is an adversary of the amazing Spider-Man and incredible Hulk. His suit grants him immense endurance and strength. He recently returned to a life of crime following an all too brief retirement.

Kevin Durand (Age: 40, Height 6’6, Real Steel, Resident Evil: Retribution): I think Durand was made for this role. He’d be perfect as the Rhino. This would be an awesome performance!

Honorable Mentions:
none.

Vulture:
Swindled by his business partner out of his equal share of the profits from their company, Adrian Toomes set out for revenge by using a flying harness of his own design. He has however, met defeat several times at the hands of his arch-nemesis, The Amazing Spider-Man.

Jackie Earle Haley (Age: 52, Height: 5’5, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Watchmen): I think JEH (yeah I just started an abbreviation for his name) would be great in this role. I could definitely see him playing a creepier, darker version of the character.

Honorable Mentions:
Ben Kingsley

Mysterio:
Mysterio was a formidable foe to the amazing Spider-Man. So much so that his arts of illusion were carried on by others after the original Mysterio's death. The original Mysterio, Quentin Beck, has recently returned. The events behind his resurrection are currently shrouded in mystery.

Matt Smith (Age: 31, Height: 5’11, Doctor Who, Christopher and His Kind): Now that Mr. Smith is out of a job, I’d love to see him play Mysterio. A more fun version of the character. A cameo at the beginning of the film that loosely connects to the story would be nice.

Honorable Mentions:
David Tennant (Yes I know)
Christopher Eccleston (I’m kidding, but that actually would be pretty cool)

Morbius:
Once Michael Morbius was a world-renowned bio-chemist, dying of an unknown blood disease and desperately searching for a cure. He found that cure, but, in turn, it afflicted him with a curse far worse than any possible disease; the curse of the blood-sucking night-beast; the curse of the Living Vampire.

Johnathan Rhys Meyers (Age: 36, Height: 5’10, Dracula, Tudors): JRM is a great actor who is beginning to get even more and more popular. I think he’d be great in this role and has the right look too. He’s already playing Dracula so.

Honorable Mentions:
Robert Pattinson (Just Kidding)

Prowler/Aaron Davis:
Aaron Davis is the uncle of Miles Morales and is also the Ultimate Prowler. He breaks into the abandoned Oscorp research facility to steal a package when a genetically enhanced spider crawls into his bag. Later on Aaron is visited by his nephew Miles. While over, the spider bites Miles on his hand, making Aaron responsible for his nephews powers.

Jamie Foxx (Age: 46, Height: 5’9, Django: Unchained, Ray): Jamie Foxx is an academy award winning actor who would OWN as Aaron Davis. I’d love to see him in this role. In one hand, it’s unfortunate we won’t see him as Prowler probably ever. In the other hand, we do get to see him as Electro which looks amazing.

So that’s the fan cast! Tell me what you think in the comment section below. Make sure to give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it! Until next time…

Solid cast, really like Gustin, Meyers and Fox as Prowler (actually a choice I share/used to share). The rest are a bit hit and miss, but as a random fan cast thats not taking itself too seriously, nice stuff!

Solid cast! Iffy on MJ and Kraven though. I knew people would like the idea of Gustin as Peter after seeing him as Barry Allen. He would be great at both!

Decent cast, although to me it seems more like a CW version cast than it does a movie cast.

Some of the casting choices are solid. However recast Jaden Smith for Miles. I think Danny Glover would be a good choice since the actor wanted to play Spider-man before the film was released.

Not sure about the actress for Mary Jane. I love the casting for Christoph Waltz as Doc Ock and the casting of Jason Isaacs as Norman Osborn. Great casting and great work.

@MightyZeus

Danny Glover:

Donald Glover:

I didn't cast Donald Glover because he's 30 and I think Miles Morales should at least be around Peter Parker's age of lower.

All of them are good except for MJ. Ariana Grande cannot act and has the body of a ten year old. Good job, though.

Don't like Meryl Streep. She's making an anti-gun, anti-NRA movie with some director. Screw her

Ooookay...?!

Not gonna lie, I prefer Latimore over Smith for the Morales role. But this is still awesome!
My top 5:
5-Foster as Electro
4-Fox as Chameleon
3-Momoa as Kraven
2-Gustin as Spidey
1-Bridges as Uncle Ben

Your changes are spectacular. I like your pick for MJ because she actually favors MJ, and your pick for Miles Morales is by far a step up from Jayden Smith. Well done man.

And Hugo Weaving as Hobgoblin is easily one of the most creative things I think I have seen on this site.

Christoph Waltz as Doc Ock! Yes! Glad I'm not the only one who thought he'd own the role! This is a really good cast. Only one I'm not too keen on is Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Spidey 2099, seeing as the character is a Latino but Aaron doesn't even look like he could pass for Latino.
