FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.


Directed by Josh Trank, The Fantastic Four reboot stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The film is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015.

Trailer was so amazing! Totally new like but I felt like I'd seen it before... because it's the exact same trailer as this one but with the ending cut out.

I've already seen the Fantastic Four on the big screen...over and over again...how many f'ing more films until a real Galactus shows up? I don't know, this just doesn't make me want to go see it. 0-:-/

Everyone is worried about Michael B Jordan being Torch. The casting of Ben Grimm is the WORST casting in the history of a CBM. Reed says to him "He'll get the muscle." referring to Jamie Bell LOL...really? I got by with the Sue/Johnny thing but to cast that pointy faced little man is too much. I can't wait for the fail then back to Marvel.By the way where are the Thing's pants?

As for this shitfest of an abomination of a "reimagining" of the Fantastic Four, screw it. I won't be seeing it. Maybe on DVD, MAYBE.

And as bfap said, casting that little scrawny kid as Ben Grimm and calling him "the muscle"? It is to laugh.

I think the only ones who are erect over this shitpile are the ones who never read the comics.

And Kate Mara is about as plain Jane as they come.

And Doctor Doom is gonna be a pissed off blogger?

I respect your opinion and everything, but judging a performance of an actor you've only seen about ten seconds of, with two lines of dialogue, from a two-minute trailer belonging to a movie that will be longer than an hour is kind of stretching judgement on the film.

And the new footage was pretty blatant to see at points in the trailer. Overall, I think this film is what the comic book genre needs so the genre won't end up as another overused dead-end trend in film like those vampire/werewolf and found footage movies; this movie is going to bring a different form of uniqueness to the genre like Guardians of the Galaxy, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, etc.

This film could almost be considered as the first reboot of the team on the big screen. Also, Galactus will most likely come sooner or later in this new trilogy. It's not the right time to introduce such a villain since this film circulates around the team's origin.
