According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has hired Andrea Berloff to write the movie that hopes to bring about the legendary barbarian's triumphant return to the screen (that Jason Moma reboot didn't work out so well), once again with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role. Berloff most recently adapted the French action film Sleepless Night for Warner Bros., and is also apparently writing a retelling of the King Arthur myth for Disney. Producer Chris Morgan called Berloff “an amazing writer who can juggle masculine grittiness with extreme emotional depth. Her take on Conan is powerful and genuine and would make Robert E. Howard proud.” Deadline also drop a brief hint about what we can expect from the plot, revealing that the movie will hearken back top that final image of Conan on his throne from the 1982 flick, and Legend Of Conan will deal with his "efforts to stay there and the final cycle of a life spent obliterating anyone who got in his way."
