Never seen the first one and have zero interest in this franchise and quite honestly I shouldn't even be commenting here.

@theFUZZ008 - I can see the resemblance. Tom Riddle is basically an infant right now, so the continuity doesn't suffer much.

It would be great if both Grindelwald and Dumbledore were animagus. Grindelwald a silver fox and Dumbledore a red fox.

@Repian - if they ever were animagi, dumbledore would be a phoenix not a fox

I actually really enjoyed the Fantastic Beasts movie, a good bit more than any of the Potter movies.

@ShellHead - It was pure JK Rowling. It was all her script and story. With Harry Potter, someone else wrote the script and they didn't add everything. The mystery elements weren't as prevalent, nor were the more silly, but still enticing elements that really made Rowling's world come alive. Like Dedalus Diggle and his meteor shower.

I wonder if they have the guts to make Dumbledore and Grindlewald gay.

Warner really missed out the opportunity of firing Johnny Depp, mr. domestic abuser. Colin Pharell should have remained, somehow. I mean, Ezra Miller will be back.

Jude Law makes a great Ewan McGregor as Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan.
