FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE - Does The Movie Have A Post-Credits Scene? Here's The Answer!

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore arrives in theaters tomorrow evening, but should you bother sticking around once the credits start rolling? We have a spoiler-free answer to that question...

We're now three movies into the five-part Fantastic Beasts franchise, though it remains to be seen whether we'll actually get those next two chapters. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore just opened with less internationally than the critically panned Crimes of Grindelwald, and estimates for its domestic debut this weekend point to moviegoers having already grown tired of this spinoff series.

While the third chapter is a definite improvement over its predecessor, only time will tell whether Warner Bros. will manage to deliver a satisfying conclusion to the story.

We're not getting into spoilers here, but the movie ends in a way that definitely leaves the door open to J.K. Rowling's planned sequels. It certainly doesn't feel like a conclusion as there's clearly more story to be told, but is the stage set for whatever comes next with a post-credits scene?

No, Fantastic Beast: The Secrets of Dumbledore does not have a post-credits scene.

This isn't overly surprising as the Harry Potter franchise has never really gone down the route of post-credit stingers. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has popularised them, which has led to all manner of movies featuring surprises once those credits stop rolling. With this latest instalment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise, however, the story ends with the credits and there's nothing more to be seen.

However, you could always wait around to enjoy James Newton Howard's magical score and to see all the people who worked hard to bring this story to life!

"Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore allows Jude Law and Mads Mikkelsen to shine," we said in our review of the movie, "but lazy, inconsistent storytelling leaves us weary at the prospect of two more movies in a corner of the Wizarding World that feels far from magical at this point."

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore arrives in theaters on April 16.

So what about Tina, is she not in the movie at all? The rumors claimed she was only in the apparently nonexistent credit scene.

Unless the post credits scene is a disclaimer saying we [frick]ed up and formally apologize to Johnny Depp and his fans I don't care

I still can't get over Rowling thought it was a good idea to take the series that was basically "Magic Steve Irwin" and turn it into a story about how the GOOD wizards need to stop the BAD wizards from preventing the Holocaust. And that Warner Brothers LET her take that route. It's insane.
