We've seen a few funny behind-the-scenes vids in the buildup to tomorrow's trailer, but this latest Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle teaser gives us our first look at some actual footage from the movie.

It's not much, but we do get brief shots of the cast (Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan and Jack Black among them) as well as a few glimpses of some CGI beasties.

If you enjoyed the first Jumanji there's probably something for you here, so check out the vid below along with an official synopsis and let us know what you think.

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into Jumanji’s world – pitted against rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. To survive, they’ll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a brave explorer (Dwayne Johnson); hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius (Kevin Hart); It-girl Bethany becomes a bookworm professor (Jack Black); and unathletic Martha becomes an amazonian warrior (Karen Gillan). To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they’ll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way.

Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle hits theatres on December 22.

The Rock thinks his inclusion will make everything better...

The OG Jumanji is just fine and should be left alone.

This man wants to remake Escape from New York for God's sake. So.ebdoy stop him!

@BlackBeltJones -

I thought his making remaking Big Trouble in Little China?

As much as I like the ROck, would rather have Kurt do a sequel to both.

Kind of looking forward to this, will hopefully be a fun family adventure.
Also my son love's The Rock so will love this.
Also hope they do a tribute to Robin Williams.

Also can we get remakes of movies that had had good concepts but didn't quite work for one reason or another.

@Supafairy -

Ooooh interesting. Out of all of the films I watched when I was a kid, I cannot remember much about it.
Does it have a big fanbase?
I did like it as a kid.

@SimplyAz - I think it was big in it's day and it was a trilogy if I remember correctly (the other were bad though). If WB plays their cards right this could be the next fantasy franchise. I know they have fantastic beasts and the DCEU but add Neverending story and it'll be a win for them.

@Supafairy - There was also a shortl-lived animated series as well, based on The Never-Ending Story. I love that movie. It's one of my favorites. I would love to see a remake.
