In a recent interview with USA Today promoting her latest film Last Night, Keira Knightley - who played Elizabeth Swan in the first three installments of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise - briefly discusses who it was like to be filming those films, and that she had enough after solidly doing it for two years. From USA Today:

Knightley calls shooting the Pirates franchise an "amazing" experience, but "I was 17 when I started and 22 by the time the last one came out. It was a considerable chunk of time." And with the back-to-back shooting schedule for Pirates 2 and 3, "doing it solidly for two years at that time was definitely enough. And I mostly just wanted to do something else."

The fourth installment of the POTC franchise, On Stranger Tides, sails into theaters May 20th!
