"Thank Tolkien, it's finally Comic Con Saturday! Can at last show you the Lord of the Rings Trilogy art print set I've been working on for Mondo. Such an honor to be able to work on these, as I have such a love for the books and the films (all of 'em!)"

@dellamorte1872--The main element that makes any joke funny is surprise; the unexpected.

There is absolutely nothing even remotely surprising or unexpected about the whole, "Hobbits are gay" schtick that's been prevalent among internet trolls for years. Even less so in these particular forums.

You're just blowing that same familiar tune on your little joke trumpet that thousands of negative attentions seekers have beat you to countless times over the last decade or more.

Here's a hint: if you feel compelled to actually type laughter into your joke (hahahaha), it's probably not funny.

But let me guess: you're not a troll, you're just making fun of trolls, right?

Don't be boring.

I'm not offended at all. It's just an old joke by another bored/boring adolescent (I have to assume) who's more interested in pushing people's buttons than having anything genuinely interesting, constructive or actually funny to say.

I don't think Tolkien or anyone else needs me to defend them; I just don't understand how the same stupid joke--repeated ad nauseum--can continue to be funny to any average adult human being with normal mental development.

No doubt dellamorte will continue to piss his own pants in hopes of annoying/amusing everyone, so I'll just leave you all to enjoy that.
