Production is swiftly gearing up for the return of the Brimstone Biker, Johnny Blaze in
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. While it's noted that filming would take place primarily in Romania, a Romanian news site,
EVZ.ro, has shared a few details including when filming will begin & end, set preparations, and other locations duo-directors Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor are considering.
With the use of Google's Translator, here is what the site states precisely:
"Nicolas Cage came to Romania on Saturday, according to the director of marketing for Castel Film, Bogdan Moncea. His project[Ghost Rider 2] is the first feature film made in our country to be shot in digital 3D next-generation technology without post, and will be based on visual special effects and pyrotechnics, all the first time in Romania.
Although not Romanian director of photography - both directors and operating room - a team of 200 technicians and artists, mostly local will try to ensure the highest standard of quality shooting.
Filming will begin on November 1 and will last until the end of February. By January it will only shoot in Romania, but the ending is possible for the team to move to Turkey, where they were already scouting, stated Monceau.
Three spectacular scenery will be built on the set Castel Film. One of the main ones will be hosted by plate 5 which is currently the highest plateau in Europe. Among the places in the country chosen for "Ghost Rider 2 - The Spirit of Vengeance" and Sibiu are împrejurimilesale, Transfăgărăşan, Targu-Jiu, Hunedoara Castle and Bucharest.
