The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive report saying that French actress Elodie Yung - who will be featured in David Fincher's upcoming Girl With A Dragon Tattoo film - is in negotiations for the role of a female ninja known as Jinx in the upcoming G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes, the sequel to the 2009 Rise Of Cobra. The report also seemingly confirms the presence of actor/wrestler Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Roadblock (as well as several new characters that have not been named yet). Here's what they have to say...

French actress Elodie Yung is in talks to join Dwayne Johnson and Channing Tatum in Paramount's new G.I. Joe movie.

Yung will play a ninja member of the Joe squad named Jinx.

John Chu is directing the movie while Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing the action movie, which is rebuilding mode. A host of characters not seen in the first movie are being introduced, with martial artist Jinx being one. Johnson is in negotiations to play Roadblock while Tatum returns as Duke.

G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes hits theaters August 10th, 2012!
