Television news site SpoilerTV claim that they know the sixth episode of Arrow is called "Keep Your Enemies Closer" and will feature 'Amanda Waller', who is best known to fans for her menacing role in the animated series Justice League: Unlimited. Apparently on Arrow, she'll be head of A.R.G.U.S and set out to kidnap John Diggle. However, it's worth nothing that SpoilerTV aren't the most reliable when it comes to scoops and they have been wrong before, but with the Suicide Squad being introduced later this season, it's not that much of a stretch, especially considering that Stephen Amell noted how much leeway DC has given them. Stay tuned for confirmation.

Idk why they cast Angela Bassett as Amanda Waller in Green Lantern. She should be playing Storm in X-Men: Days of Future Past (Halle Berry has been god awful, no long silver hair or African accent and weak). If you want an Amanda Waller, go get a "Queen Latifah" type. A naturally, heavier set, black woman. Hell, the picture for this article looks more like "Precious" actress Monique then Angela Bassett. Casting of black women in super heroe movies has been off since the beginning...

I always think of Nell Carter when I see pictures of Amanda Waller. She would have been perfect for the role.

C.C.H. Pounder is still the definitive actor for the role. I'd like it if she made a guest appearance, but then I don't watch this show.

I bumped into CCH Pounder at an art show in 2007, she stood right in front of me, face to face with her family. I had a totally geekgasm inside & no one in the room knew who she was.

I mean if people want a really gorgeous woman to play Amanda I'd choose between Angela Bassett and Kerry Washington. Watch Scandal and you'll see Kerry is very equipped for the job.

I think her weight is highly likely.
Isn't she more of an executive type? And not so much of a fighter? Only when she needs too.
I liked that she wasn't a tall, slender woman like most comic women.

I wouldn't mind Kerry Washington, she's fierce in Scandal.
Although practically she'd probably never do it. She's a busy in-demand woman.

If they are going for beautiful like most of the women in the cast, I vote for KD Aubert. Think she would fit in with the other girls.

Please don't ever suggest Vivica Fox for anything comics book hell even anything movie related. She isn't that good of an actress because she is so annoying.

I think the only way we would be able to get Kerry Washington would be if its a movie and she filmed her scenes on her off time from Scandal.

KD isn't a good actress. She is a pretty face but her acting isn't good. In anything serious her performance would remove you from the scene.

You're right, KD Aubert is not the greatest actor but half the cast are not great actors. Only good actors on the show are Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlin), John Barrowman (Tommy's dad), & Stephen Amell is OK. The rest feel like daytime soap opera actors to me, so I could see her on the show, maybe not as Waller.
