With the upcoming superhero series Arrow getting a lot of positive feedback before it airs on the CW it’s no surprise that another big name in DC comics will get her own fresh start in the small screen. It was recently reported that a new Wonder Woman live action series called Amazon was in early development following a similar style to that of the Superman inspired series Smallville. Now Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told The Hollywood Reporter. His thoughts on another Superhero show on the Horizon.
There's the Adam West and Christopher Nolan versions of Batman and one doesn't obviate the other
"The Lynda Carter version [of Wonder Woman] was great and now The CW is hopefully developing another wonderful version that will be a nice compliment to Arrow."
His associated Excess Marc Guggenheim added that he would like to see the two series share schedule and the same a night on The CW.
"I think there's totally room for both shows," he said. "It would be fun to share a night with them; the CW programmes two hours a night and that'd be a pretty kick-ass night of television.
"It harkens back to the years of my childhood where you had The Six Million Dollar Man and Wonder Woman and all these superhero-like genre shows all on the dial and all you had to do was change the channel."
Make sure to catch the premiere of Arrow on Wednesday, October 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
