Several weeks ago, we brought you an exclusive first look at the YF-32 Experimental Jet plane that is being used for Martin Campbell's Green Lantern movie. The jet will be piloted by our hero's father, Martin Jordan (portrayed by Jon Tenney in the film), and will not only be the cause of his demise but the catalyst of Hal Jordan's lifelong struggle to concur fear.

It appears to be based off of the X-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and is roughly 2/3 scale. According to CBM scooper Dave, the jet was taken out of its hanger at New Orleans Lakefront Airport, which is being used as the Ferris Aircraft airfield set, for screen testing today:

The jet could be a little more futuristic, it looks like the F-35 (http://vimeo.com/3437045)It was created by Lockheed Martin as a Gen5 fighter jet.

@InterestingJohn Same here. I read that part of the script and while picturing it in my head, honestly, I got teary eyed. It's an intense scene far more intense than what Secret Origins did with it.

@Poni Okay Then I will have to remember not to ask you to judge me in anything. I'll end up feeling really sad. LMAO.

InstigatorGIRL - 5/5/2010, 8:35 PM
@Star Its like Disney and their animated flicks. Why do most of the main characters have a dead/absent parent?
I think Disney is trying to program the kids to... KILL THEIR PARENTS!!!

@Starsapphire, It helps to shape their personalities. They feel responsible for not being able to save their loved ones so they try to save others. It's carthetic. In addition the lack of social ties makes it easier to put oneself in harms way. That is why I became CAPATAIN SWEEEAAAT PAAAAANTSSSS! (yes that was a hiss at the end, lol)
