Produced by Bruce Timm, Green Lantern: The Animated Series will be a part of Cartoon Network's original programming. The CGI based show will feature Josh Keaton as Hal Jordan, with characters Kilowog, the Guardians of the Universe, Carol Ferris, Salaak, Sayd, Saint Walker, and Zilius Zox confirmed to appear. The main antagonists of the show will be the Red Lantern Corps, led by the villain Atrocitus, and the Manhunters.



Green Lantern: The Animated Series is expected to premiere at the end of 2011, after the film's release. The movie which stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Mark Strong as Sinestro, director Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17, later this year!

JOSH KEATON as Hal Jordan??? Wow. I actually thought they would've gotten someone like Adam Baldwin (who briefly played Hal in Justice League Unlimited) to play Hal.

Looks cool. I mean, shit; they can't make every cartoon for adults. Damn. DC is pretty good with their animated stuff. It's just the live-action they can't get out the gate with.

It is NOT the music of the Green Lantern cartoon, how do people still not realize this.

Who posted this article should really add a blurb about how they just took one clip edited out of a whole block of Cartoon Network shows.
If you’re going to edit a clip out of context, at least put the context In the description and say where it came from.

Hmmm, not sure about the animation style. Might have to grow on me. Took awhile to get use to Samurai Jack when it first was out, but I loved it after awhile.

Honestly, amazed to even see a GL animated series. I find that awesome in itself. I'll wait to see how the first few episodes go before judging it. Since that was only literally a 7 second clip.

If Bruce Timm is involved, that's all I really need to know.

It's hard to judge based on such short footage, but it does look a bit iffy. We'll see though. Let's wait to judge until we see more substantial footage.

I thought that ridiculous looking Batman Bold and Brave was going to be shit too. The crazy stories are actually written quite well and I found myself watching it if it's on. Young Justice is great qualty though. But obviously they were going for different style.

Why does everyone not have enough insight to realize that this is a version of GL specifically geared toward the very younger audience. Just like Batman Bold and the Brave which is also terrible. They're doing a more mature animated series as well, but this one will run during prime little kid hours.
