Green Lantern Internet Rumor Shot Down

For those of you who dislike all the Internet rumors out there, here is confirmation that the Bradley Cooper Green Lantern rumor is false, from Bradley himself.

Bradley Cooper was rumored to have a casting call with director Martin Campbell auditioning for the role of Green Lantern. While at a press junket for "The Hangover" Bradley confirmed that there is NO truth to the casting or auditioning rumors that surfaced a few weeks ago, its all Internet banter.

I am hoping this sticks and Bradley isn't pulling a fast one on us. Like I said Bradley would be a better fit for Hawkman rather then Hal Jordan.

In other news Bradley Cooper has confirmed he will play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck a.k.a Face in Carnahan's new A-TEAM reboot, that's right folks, Bradley Cooper.

Damn, ol' BRAD could've played a cool GUY GARDNER!

Yeah, i know it was for the HAL part lol!

HAWKMAN?? Are you friggin' me? Man, though a movie based on the HAWKWORLD mini series would be so mind blowing on film!!!

WARNERS. ; )

Brad should be Namor, in my opinion. He exudes a cocky attitude with ease, a must for the character. Plus I'm pretty sure he's in great shape already which means they could get the film rolling. Maybe have him as the villain/threat in the avengers movie.

A-Team renew? I figured this would happen soon.

I was just hoping it would get the treatment that Starsky and Hutch did on the big screen. I want to see people shooting machine guns and nobody gets hit, cars doing amazing flips and crashes and no one gets hurt.

That's the A-Team!

I'm pretty sure Michael Clarke Duncan will be the favorite to be B.A. but my vote goes to Terry Crews. He's defeinatly big enough to step into Mr. T's shoes. Just needs a mohawk....and thousands of gold chains...

And didn't Marvel do a comic years ago?

Yeah, he would be awesome for Guy Gardner. BUT!!! they can't have the first live action Green Lantern movie about Guy Gardner, I think it would be agreed that it needs to be about Hal Jordan first. If you wanna say Allan Scott then go ahead but he's kinda old balls. Hal would be best for the first movie and in this man's opinion, Josh Duhamel would be ideal. You may have noticed that I write "Josh Duhamel" on most every Green Lantern article. That is because I am so insistent that he be Hal Jordan. He looks just like him and he's not too young like a lot of the people they suggest, like Capt Kirk or the guy whose playing Thor (although he does look the part... he seems a little young)

PHEW! Thank goodness! He looks nothing like Hal!

Now quit doddling and just cast Sam Worthington already so that we can go see it!

Who cares? Give it to Chris Pine. I think he would do just fine.

A Hawkworld movie...that's the first time I've ever heard those words used together and I think that would be an awesome idea. But how many here would be interested in a miniseries that came out about 20 years ago that carries a very minute fan base. It'd probably work better as a T.V. miniseries on SciFi than a movie.

What!? Bradley Cooper cant be face man!

TucsonRican--I like the Terry Crews/B.A. Baracus idea. He kills me! But it looks like Common is going to play BA and Chris Pine might play Murdock. Who should play Hannibal? I loved this show. It was like a mini gi joe team full of Macgyvers.

Yeah, looks like they are going for a serious adaptation. Shit, the Scott brothers are producing..

I always thought George Clooney as Murdock and Booker T (yes, the wrestler) as B.A. Barracus. Dreadlocks instead of mohawk.
