I know, I know, you're all sick of seeing these 'Green Lantern' toys and various promotional stuff, but it's here anyway for your viewing pleasure. Marvel releases the new 'Captain America: The First Avenger' trailer, and we get more toys, these will have to hold us over until we finally get another trailer for 'Green Lantern'.

"In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. *sigh* marvel releases the freaking Cap trailer and what does DC do to respond. More freaking merchandise. Dammit and here I was finally starting to think they learned by releasing teh Abin sur pic. Well....what can I expect :(

For all you idiots complaining, you do realize that the general public doesnt need every scene released online or a new picture every day to get hyped? When you bombard everyone with hype for the movie, you've already either basically shown the whole movie, or shown the best parts and saved the crappy scenes for theater. Take Iron Man 2 for example. Alot of the cool stuff was in the trailers, and you all complained about the "Avengers commercial scenes". Would you prefer they bombard us with every scene and spoil the movie to the point of no interest(like Thor), or to simply put the movie on the proverbial table and wait til the last few months to go crazy with ads and tv spots. And Marvel Studios has spoiled some of you guys. Because they overload the news for their movies and spoil different scenes every other week, every other studio must follow. What's the point of even seeing the movie? We just got THE FIRST Cap trailer, and yet you complain about GL not having a second? IT'S COMING OUT WITH SUCKER PUNCH!!! I'm sorry, but some of you are the most impossible morons and will take any chance you get to bash GL for no reason(I'm looking at you, Marvel72). I don't wish for Thor to flop or fail in any way, form, or fashion, but at the same time, I want some of you morons to be butthurt and eat your words. And not just over GL, over the crap that many are still giving Captain America. Quit complaining about Reynolds and Evans being comedians, or the THREE comedic lines in GL, when there was a similar amount in Thor(which shouldn't even have comedy if you ask me). And for you saying Hal isnt funny, READ A DAMN GEOFF JOHNS GL BOOK, LIKE, YA KNOW, SECRET ORIGIN, WHICH THIS MOVIE IS BASED ON!! I swear this is so ridiculous, and I'm gonna quit now, but I'm disgusted at this point.

your upset because deep down you know i as well as others speak the truth,i read the green lantern comic every month i want the movie to be great,but i've seen nothing thats impressed me,sorry tell a lie i like the look of sinestro.

the trailer whenever it comes better be pretty special unlike the 400th action figure article,when are we actually gonna hear from the stars & the director of the movie some interveiws would be nice or actually seeing some movie stills.

@Marvel72 you bring up a good point. WHile not showing virtually ANYTHING of the film I would be satisfied to ATLEAST have interviews with the people involved with it. The directors or actors etc. With THOR Kenny B. COuldn't stop talkin his head off about it. Much the same with the people involved with the film. I haven't heard ANYTHING from GL. That next tailer better not hold any punches. It better come out swinging to out do cap yet alone the Beast that is the Thor movie coming out, I think thats gonna be the best CBM this year

@DAHAMMA Dude, we've had Mark Strong talk about the movie, as well as Reynolds talk about it and the costume. are they just insignificant or something to be considereing "news" or "interviews"? And many of you have absolutely no clue how movie studios work. I ask again, do we need every aspect spoiled? You guys are like greedy pigs! You deserve crumbs but you want the whole damn thing! I love how the people here act like DC itself is adding content to this site. This "news" came from mattels website, because guess what? Mattel sells GL TOYS.

Im sure the DC offices are scrambling to get something out in the 'great trailer war of 2011 @ CBM.com".
