While promoting Green Lantern at Wonder Con, HITFIX talked with star Ryan Reynolds about the successful debut of the new footage. During this chat, which led to a talk about Geoffrey Rush's casting as the voice actor for Hal Jordan's mentor Tomar-Re, Reynolds hints that we will know more than just one of the voice actors bringing the alien members of the Green Lantern Corps to life.

Green Lantern hits theaters June 17th.

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds). Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

dellamorte1872Clancy Brown sounds like a villain. Duncan is perfect. It's one of those rare moments when the voice actually fits the character. But that's just me. I'm probably the only one who thinks Seth Rogan as Paul is monumentally off. Some time they just put a popular name to a character weather the voice fits or not.

"For me it's just that connection between Abin Sur and Hal Jordan... I really felt this connection between these two guys. You know Hal sees a downed pilot at first, he doesn't see an alien. He knows there is something different about this guy but he really sees a guy whos crashed his plane. And I love that."
- Great answer by Reynolds! I love it! Reynolds is perfect for the role. He understands it completely!

I also loved Reynolds' answer about how Hal sees Abin as a downed pilot rather than an alien. That's something that I feel ashamed for never picking up on myself. Great actor. Great choice for Hal Jordan.

This movie is going to be full of winning.
