The Green Lantern seems to have a long list of things lining up to make it an extremely successful film. On top of a stellar cast including Ryan Reynolds, Mark Strong, Peter Skarsgaard and Blake Lively, it also has a recently released trailer that has people everywhere buzzing with excitement.

Now, to top it off, PEOPLE Magazine announced Wednesday that they have named Ryan Reynolds, the star of The Green Lantern their "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2010. This kind of publicity and exposure certainly can do nothing but draw even more people in to one of the most anticipated CBM's of 2011.

"My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke. When I stop training, I turn into a skin-colored whisper."

"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage. That does sound better."
