According to THR, Warner Bros has cast both Chris Pine as Hal Jordan and Tyrese Gibson as John Stewart. Pine has been a fan favorite for the character for some time now, however I'm sure you'll see mixed responses about Tyrese. The article doesn't state if either will be included in the Jusice League movie, or if this is just for the Green Lantern solo flick.

Aditionaly, they also report that another Green Lantern from Earth will be showing up as well, however, there is no mention as to which one (Kyle? Guy?) or who will be playing him.

How do you feel about Chris Pine and Tyrese Gibson taking on roles as Green Lanterns of Earth? Sound of below...but before you do, PSYCHE! Happy April first.

I want to believe this but at the same time. No movie studio would ever do fan cast and especially they are a lot better actors than these 2

After a tumultuous production filled with script issues and in-fighting amongst cast members, CBS has decided to cancel the "Supergirl" TV series. The series will not be joining CBS's new shows this fall.
It seems that a trio of costumes and some last-minute shooting and script adjustments weren't enough to save the hopeful super-heroine series. Fan reaction to leaked production photos and the first reveal of Supergirl's costume only served to fuel the fire.

CBS shelved the series today, shutting down the Warner Bros. TV-produced project. Sources inside the network claim that executives weren't impressed with the initial episode and decided against a series based on negative fan reaction on the internet over the last few weeks.

Executive Producer Greg Berlanti said, "It all depends on the script. We were very careful with Arrow and The Flash. These are iconic characters, but it just wasn't working out with Supergirl. You only get one shot before you get bit."

This was Superman Homepage's April Fool's article.
