Actress Jenna Craig (The Final Destination, Year One) has confirmed on her website that she will portray 11-year old Carol Ferris in Martin Campbell's Green Lantern. Blake Lively landed the role of her adult counterpart several months ago.

The character of Carol Ferris is the only child of aerospace mogul Carl Ferris. When she was visiting her father's airfield as a child, she witnessed the death Hal Jordan's father. While Hal Jordan was always shown as loyal and loving to his father, Carol was a bratty braggart that felt superior because of her father's position.

Since this pivotal scene is kid-Ferris' introduction into the Green Lantern mythology, it's safe to assume that it will be included in the film.
