Is James Gunn Hinting At Plans For GOTG VOL. 3 Stars Chris Pratt & Pom Klementieff In The DCU?

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has previously stated that he'd be open to working with some of his Guardians of the Galaxy cast again in the DCU, and the filmmaker now appears to be teasing potential roles for two particular members of the crew.

A fan asked Gunn if there was any chance we might see the likes of Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) and Pom Klementieff (Mantis) playing themselves in the second season of Peacemaker, and gave a very interesting response.

"There are reasons I wouldn't want either of those actors to play themselves in the DCU!"

Gunn didn't reveal what these reasons were, but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to assume it's because he has DC Comics heroes/villains in mind for Pratt and Klementieff to play in future projects!

Fans are already speculating about which characters they could be, with Booster Gold one popular pick for Pratt.

Gunn was also asked if he's mapped out the "lay of the land" for the DCU, as in, where all of the different cities that the heroes are operating out of are located in relation to one another. He responded: "We are creating an incredibly detailed world map."

If Gunn does have DCU roles lined up for Pratt and Klementieff, which DC Comics characters would you most like to see them play? Drop us a comment down below.
