Earlier today, Sony Pictures released the first trailer for
Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and
fans of the franchise seem to be very happy with what they've seen so far (especially as the sillier tone of the 2016 reboot is nowhere to be found and it's more in line with the first two classic movies).
With the new lead characters related to one of the original Ghostbusters and Easter Eggs aplenty - including the apparent return of Slimer - it seems fair to say that this sequel has the potential to be something very special indeed. Not everyone is going to love the focus on child actors, of course, but the addition of Paul Rudd arguably more than makes up for that.
Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard being so riculously talented is another bonus, of course!
