20 years ago, Wes Craven brought us one of the best horror movies ever, Scream. Now after two decades have passed, how does it hold up today?

I remember when I first watched Scream. I was 8, and I was with my friends around Halloween and we were pumped to be watching an R-rated movie. And of course it went as you would expect: it scared the living shit out of us. As I got older, I scoffed at how scared I was. Scream isn't really balls to the wall scary, its more of a horror comedy than anything that pokes at the cliches and tropes of the horror genre. And it does that very well. 

Craven's misdiretion, the perfect blend of comedy, and the well fleshed out characters make the first Scream one of a kind. Full review below:
