You may want to hold off on this since the new Kong: Skull Island trailer is coming very soon, but the teaser below provides our first look at another of the movie's monsters. In all previous incarnations of King Kong, the human characters had to contend with smaller creatures as well as the giant ape, and it looks like this latest big-screen outing will be no different.

The footage is very brief and a bit on the blurry side, but you can make out some kind of reptilian-like beast emerging from the water. Perhaps this will serve as a warm up for Kong's inevitable showdown with Godzilla?

Also starring Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell, Kong: Skull Island is set to be released on March 10th, 2017.
