Producer Guillermo Del Toro says that the small screen version of Hulk is unlikely to have any relation the movie version, saying instead that they're looking towards the comics for inspiration, specifically Jeph Loeb's work...

Talking to IGN TV at the San Diego Comic-Con, the producer of the now confirmed Hulk series has revealed where the show is drawing its main source of inspiration from, and seems to confirm that it will in fact have little to do with the Green Goliath we'll see in The Avengers next year. He's also asked about the chances of seeing different coloured Hulks, and while he refuses to give too much away, this definitely seems like it has the potential to be the best of the companies planned television projects.
