New Iron Man 2 Photo & Reshooting Location Revealed

New Iron Man 2 Photo & Reshooting Location Revealed

Check out a new reshoot location & a new pic of Whiplash.

Director, Jon Favreau, is still doing reshoots for Iron Man 2. My main source, who is an extra for the sequel has revealed the location:

Just found the filming permit for "Rasputin"(Iron Man 2's filming title) on the 27th of January. They will be filming on 85 E. State St. in Pasadena, Ca.

The source managed to get a pic of the location from Google Maps:

Plus...Check out this new pic of Whiplash in his glory.

MarvelFreshman:It seems wierd that they are still doing reshoots, while Jon Favreau is "Locking scenes" of the film(Meaning he can't change them, and will be included in the final finish) in the editing room. And that Pic of Whiplash seems EPIC to me. The pic should be titled: WHIPLASH IN HIS GLORY. Just love it. What do you think?

@Bad Ass Marvel Freshman: Great find.

So is this re-shoot gonna tie with Thor? It'll almost for sure be the secret after the credits scene.

ALSO: I have a new source telling me that Bruce Banner will indeed have a reference in IM2.

And for the reshoot. I think they are filming something fresh, for it to appear on television or something in THOR.

@jusme6 Is that my new nickname..lol..I might make a new site logo with - Bad-Ass - included. cool

This actually looks just exactly like the setting where Thor trashed Iron Man in Thor #3. I cant find a good pic online but here are a few that may give some indication.

I'm not saying that is what they are doing I'm just saying it looks just like it.

The guy looks like a homeless drunk, but he's got the brains to come with the equivalent to Stark's first suit, the one that he broke out of prison with. I'm REALLY looking forward to this! Very cool shot!

There will be some sort of Thor reference or cameo in IM2.

Here is a line from an article I did on the subject some time ago.

"There are already indications that there will be some type of Thor-related presence in next year's Iron Man 2."

I think this movie will be awesome, unlike sagekilz. Jon Favreuo said specifically in the featurette on iron man that he knew if they did a sequel that they would need to do it right. I am confident he is making the proper efforts to give us an amazing movie.

These re-shoots seem to oddly coincide with Favreau's recent visits to the Thor set.

Thoughts on the possibility that they're connected?

@theartofoneness

EVERYONE and their brother bitches about orgin stories, staying true to the comic, etc., but when Iron Man has too many characters and the main villian's orgin story is COMPLETELY wrong, no one says a damn word. It really pisses me off when people pick and choose what movies they want to bitch about. So sick of everyone jerkin Favreau off because of this medicore Iron Man franchise when Raimi was doing the same thing with Spider-Man and everyone was up in arms.

Make up your minds' and stop the double standards!

Sagekilz@ seriosuly...
everyone bitches and moans about being true to the source material. yet what i see as being the most loved super hero movies so far, iron man and the dark knight, don't stick to the sources at all. and no one says anything.
but it doesn't matter, you can tell the whiners that but then when avengers doesn't have ant-man and or wasp(totally uninteresting, meaningless characters) they'll cry until the midnight showing they finally got into after waiting in line for 3 hours.
sagekilz
sagekilz - 1/21/2010, 10:15 AM
@ODINSBEARD

I agree with everything you said. the dark knight didnt stick to source material either and was 99.9% perfect in it's movie form. so basically if the movie is good, the source material goes out the window and no one says nada BUT if the movie is "eh", spider-man 3, people cry foul.

The origin in Ironman was true to the source they only changed the badguys from Communists to terrorists. that was the only change in the origin that was obvious.
Now the FF origin and Doctor Doom's was totaly screwed The only change in Spidey's origin was that the webs shoot out his wrists instead of web shooters...
The first Hulk movie origin was screwed up...
The second movie was better but not true to the comic book origin either, a shout out to the TV series Hulk still a lot better than Ang Lee's Hulk by far...
Even Batman's origin doesn't change in Batman Begins prior to his parents death and his training after is cool since that's never been done in the comics but the event that leads him to become Batman has never changed the death of his parants leaving the theater.

i wonder why you never see civilians getting hurt in films or pulling out a handgun and shooting at the villain alot of people carry guns these days.
