We have already seen Karl Urban from the chest up as Dreed, helmet in full view. Now we have this new set pic featuring our first glimpse of the rest of the outfit as well as the Lawmaster. It's unknown if this is Urban as Dredd, as stunt double or a completely different Judge character.

Dreddtakes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot – if necessary. The endlessly inventive mind of writer Alex Garland and the frenetic vision of director Peter Travis bring Dredd to life as a futuristic neo-noir action film that returns the celebrated character to the dark, visceral incarnation from John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra’s revered comic strip.

The bike is ugly. it looks like it started life as a Kawasaki, then they added and extended horribly.

WTF? Is this the same chubby stunt double that we saw in those early Cap pics? Why doesn't someone tell him to shed a few so he at least looks the part somewhat..

Read the script it's really good interesting 'Day in the life' Dredd story angle. The small budget is determining the look of the film i reckon?

@JohnnySmoke - you're welcome. the pictures i posted are from a fan-made film called Judge Minty, with a cameo from Dredd (the same guy in the picture i posted - and Dredd is played by one of the original Judge Dredd comic book artists himself). It's amazing that a fan-made film is getting everything right whereas commercial film (ie Hollywood, etc) is getting it wrong. The story may be as good as they say, but they f-king f-d up on their production run.... what the hell kind of budget do they have that a fan-film can kick them in the balls when it comes to something like a Lawmaster?

for idiots that may think the picture i posted was of a cgi bike... WRONG... the bike is as real as it gets and was driven during the film too.

I have high hopes for this film. Always loved the 2000ad anthologies. I hope Dredd has an English or continental accent at least and not straight up American, though i guess it is the future and wont really matter as the world becomes a smaller and smaller place.

@Blacksands dude, stop ruining my anticipation for this movie gaddamit. I must admit tho, the bike in the photo is pretty lame compared to the Judge Minty one. But ultimately looks cheaper too. Rememba this isn't exactly a mega blockbuster summer production.

@ComicBandit lol sorry dude, but even you have to admit.... even if it's not a mega blockbuster, they should have at least treated the production part right. I mean, come on, Minty is a FAN-film... Urban's Dredd have the backing of a STUDIO... someone there should've thought to take a hint or something and NOT let a fan-film beat them down in terms of production and props value. I hope the movie does well, but I also have to be honest that I am NOT liking what I am seeing so far.
