Cyborg Actor Ray Fisher Says Zack Snyder Shot Enough JUSTICE LEAGUE Footage "To Make Two Movies"

Well, this explains a lot. Despite grossing over $600 million at the worldwide box office, Justice League was still considered a disappointment by Warner Bros. and it appears as if expensive reshoots weren't the only reason. Despite Justice League: Part Two being put on hold fairly early on during production, it seems as if Zack Snyder was intent on shooting a BIG movie.

During an appearance at the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher was asked about what the future holds in store for Victor Stone/Cyborg and while he clearly has no idea, he made it clear that there's more than just a handful of scenes on the cutting room floor which were shot by Snyder.

"[What] I will say is Zack had very specific plans for Cyborg, and for his trajectory. And Zack probably shot enough footage in the first film to make like two movies out of. He definitely had a whole, I believe, a trilogy in mind, with respect to Justice League. And if his vision had sort of come to fruition, Cyborg would have probably been one of, if not the most powerful, metahuman in the entire canon, in the film universe. And that’s just one of the crazy things about Zack, is that he can take someone who’s such a newcomer and evolve their powers to the point where, you know, Cyborg is like 'S tier.'"

This is interesting for a lot of reasons; for starters, it seems as if Snyder was shooting footage which he would have used further down the line and, if not, having what was probably a four-hour assembly cut of the movie just goes to show that the budget must have ballooned out of control long before Joss Whedon was hired.

Cyborg becoming the most powerful metahuman in the DC Films Universe also would have been quite something and it's starting to make sense why Warner Bros. initially had plans for a solo movie.

Well, now that Warner Bros producers have destroyed their own DCEU and are lost on the direction they must take, I think that the TV series are the only decent DC COMICS adaptations.

So CYBORG will fit perfectly in the new series TITANS...

@Vigor - it never died. Those Snyder nuts have been encouraging people to boycott Aquaman unless WB releases a Snyder cut of JL. They spam anything and everything WB posts on their social media. I went to check out that recent Aquaman and Mera magazine cover on their page and saw only Snyder Cut spam in the comments.

@RageDriver2401 - you look for it and you'll find it. but the movement, as a whole, supports dc, does positive titan reviews and just wants a man to be fairly represented in this world.
you look at bots or anti-campaigns and you blame us, but we stifle that talk the moment it comes up. look, this snyder cut movement has been going on for a year. a lot of people feel like they lost and they get desperate. but we don't destroy them for acting a fool, we lift them back up on their feet.
as for you, hiding in here were you think it's safe from snyder fans (because you and your other hateful accounts bullied them out). you dont get to speak for me or them. you dont get to spew hate anymore.
the tides are turning. there's still time to get on board.

@guyatadesk - seriously though. there was 3 years between MoS and BvS. when 2019 is over and if we still don't have to snyder cut, i'll let it die. but it's not the past until then. did you watch the ultimate cut of BvS?
SisterSunday52
SisterSunday52 - 10/19/2018, 9:00 AM
@RageDriver2401 - I can't stand the more extremist faction of our Snyder fandom.

Warner Bros. got the message with the boycott of the theatrical release of "Justice League". We will not support them for studio interference.

As far as I can tell, there has been no studio interference on "Aquaman". There was a rumor from an extremist Snyder fan who is all for this "Aquaman" boycott, but it was debunked by James Wan himself.

Warner Bros. won't move "Aquaman" from its December 21 release date, which no film will survive, because it ties in to Snyder's films, and they want it to bomb because toxic DC/Marvel fans want to see his universe die and be replaced. Boycotting "Aquaman" not only ensures this happens, but #ReleaseTheSnyderCut's true goal of putting an end to Warner Bros.' studio interference, and our push for a filmmaker's creative freedom will be lost in the shuffle.
