Justice League: War, DC's animated adaptation of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's initial Justice League arc, is set to be the first (of many) films in DC's new shared animated universe.
War's producer James Tucker had this to say about how the film will affect future of DC's animated universe:

This will definitely be the first salvo in doing new movies that are in continuity with each other, our next movie's going to be 'Son of Batman,' and that Batman will be the same Batman that you see in 'Justice League: War.' Basically, we'll have two concurrent series of Justice League movies and Batman movies, and they'll be in continuity with each other. So it's kind of world-building.

Tucker went on to explain that DC plan on releasing three animated films a year, two of which will be in Justice League: War's continuity, while the other is out of continuity. 2014's third release (after Son of Batman) is Batman: Assault on Arkham, which takes place in the Arkham game series' universe.

What do you think of DC's plans? Are they out shining Warner Bros. live action properties? Sign off your thoughts below.

This makes it sound like they'll only do Batman and Justice League movies from now on. I hope that's what what will actually happen.

@Dev, doesn't Paradox lead right into War? Especially with the after credits scene in Paradox.

Well if the continuity is like in the comics, the scene between Flash and Batman at the end of Paradox is in the present, while War takes place in the past, 5 years in the comics, and probably just months for the movies.

eh... this is cool i guess.

"paradox" was cool, but way too gory and violent. at least for a pg13 cartoon.
beheadings, face stabbings, all over 3rd degree burnings, and those were the good guys.

Better than Man of Shit.

I'm glad they're gonna make a movie focusing on Batman. He's a pretty underused property that really deserves his time in the limelight.

Ehhh, I didn't really liked JL:W that much. Doesn't mean they can't improve with new movies in this continuity, so, bring it on.

Im a huge ass Batman fan like millions of people but even I want to see other characters come to life. Like at last years comic con when they announced two Batman animated films beside Justice League War I was actually disappointed. And I love Arkham series on PS3 and never read Son of Batman (that gives more incentive to watch). Like I'll definitely watch Son of Batman and Assault on Arkham, but DC needs to expand to other characters, both in the film and animated department.

This movie is AWESOME, I like it better than MoS crap. Seriously this movie made me care for cyborg, CYBORG! (I always though he was just lame and boring) even WW in this film was great, her best portrayed in movies. They made Green lantern funny and likeable, they show how Batman TRUELY has to be, Superman was how powerful he truely is. Im cheering for marvel characters in movies, same for dc but they dont have nun yet and MoS was Meh of steel, snyder besides taking notes on marvel they definitely need to take notes to this movie. I saw it twice already recommend to any CBM fan. Story, timing, development, action, amd of course animation. A 4/5 movie

Justice League War was fairly bad. Their animated movies are usually much better. Loved Under the Red Hood much more. Superman was a dick, Wonder Woman was really lame other than when she fought (then she was kickass), the rest were pretty okay. I think Flash was underutilized though.
