Justice League and Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder has taken to Twitter to share a cryptic video, and fans are convinced that it has something to do with the return of the "SnyderVerse."

To be fair, it's easy enough to see how people would jump to that conclusion!

The "incoming transmission" is only 15 seconds-long, but it features the ominous voice of Snyder Cut villain Darkseid as he tells listeners to "save the date" (28th, 29th and 30th of April).

This clearly has something to do with Snyder's DC Comics-based work, but could it really be teasing the filmmaker's return to the current DCU for new projects? It's one possibility, but there are several others, including the return of SnyderCon, and a theatrical release of his director's cut of Justice League.

Warner Bros. brass made it clear that the SnyderVerse was over after the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, but maybe the current management have been more receptive to the idea of some overlap?

DC Studios co-head James Gunn has previously confirmed that he's spoken to Snyder about the new DCU slate, so maybe they really have decided to collaborate? If so, expect Gunn to weigh in himself at some point, and we're sure Zack will share some more hints in due time.

What do you make of this video? Be sure to share your theories down below.
